Inttimo oil - oil discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by Carrie Ann

I've been very impressed by the Wet Inttimo line and the aromatherapy massage and bath oil in "Romance" -- which is cedarwood and patchouli - is only impressing me more. It's ideal for just about anyone who likes earthy yet soft scents and works wonderfully for both massage and for bath or after shower use. I would not recommend it as a lube for women if you're sensitive to oils in your vagina but, if you're not, it certainly shouldn't hurt if some gets in there since it's made from mostly natural oils rather than petroleum based oils. No need to run and wash off before sex after your sensual massage unless oils are an issue for you. Do be aware that it's not compatible with latex condoms, however!

This oil is a slightly heavy oil and does feel a bit greasy at first. It's thin, like most oils, but thanks to the tiny hole in the top of the bottle, it's easy to get just the amount you need out. It doesn't pour or run out copiously. It does, however, run down the body if you apply it directly to body parts so it's best to pour some into your hand and use your hand to spread it on the body.

Once it's applied, the greasy feeling goes away quite quickly. It absorbs into the skin, leaving you soft and sort of glistening for a bit, then completely sinks in so you're just smooth and moisturized.

Inttimo Romance massage oil is cedarwood and patchouli scented but it's a light, barely there fragrance. I was sort of afraid it was going to be so strong folks would be all "Get your patchouli stink out of my store!" but it's not. It's woodsy, earthy, but light. Excellent for either sex as it has no real male or female feel to the aroma, just a clean, natural scent.

I did not taste this since I have no real compulsion to lick trees. The fragrance comes from both "aroma" which can be anything, most likely chemical, and essential oils so I'm thinking, while probably safe to lick or kiss skin it's applied to, it's going to taste perfumey.

I was quite impressed with how this oil performed. It lasted for a good thirty minute or more massage when we used it that way and truly absorbed into the skin nicely. Probably it performs better for those with dry to normal skin since it's a heavier oil but I'd say most folks could use it without feeling the need to shower as soon as they're done.

Used in the bath it disperses in the water fairly well, leaves you soft and supple and lightly scented. Be careful, though, as it does leave the tub quite slippery!

After shower, applying some to damp skin then patting dry leaves you soft and radiant.

We noticed no staining when we got this on our sheets and towels -- all oil spots cleaned up in the wash.

Inttimo oil comes in a wrapped 8 oz plastic bottle with a screw off top. The opening has one of those plastic disks with the very small hole in it so pouring is easy but it also seems to leak a bit if not kept upright. Wrap in a Ziploc if you plan to travel with this.

Though most of the oils in this product are natural, it does also contain some chemicals and parabens -- so if you're looking for organic or 100% natural, this may not be the product for you.
