Dona, Be Mine!

The Dona body lotion was one of the gifts my very thoughtful husband gave me for Valentine's Day this past year. He knew I had been wanting to try the line so he bought my almost every Dona product offered on EF in the various scents offered.
Last night, he gave me a full body massage with the Dona body lotion to help relieve some of my stress from work and school. It was soooo relaxing! The lotion is so velvety and luxurious. It was also very moisturizing so you really only need two or three pumps to do someone's entire body.
I love the fact that the Dona bath and body product line uses only natural and eco-friendly products. No parabens, sulfates, triclosans, petrochemicals, or pthalates here. Only natural oils to add natural fragrance, aloe, and no artificial coloring.

The texture of this lotion is great! It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, velvety, refreshed, moisturized, and oh so touchable. I will definitely start using this body lotion on my unbelievably dry skin every night. Even though my skin gets very dry in the winter time, it is also very oily and I tend to have to watch what kind of products I use on my skin in order to avoid breakouts and acne. So far, I have not experienced any breakout problems while or after using the Dona body lotion. My skin did not feel oily or greasy at all after using this lotion. It is truly the perfect balance of moisturizers.

The scent was absolutely amazing. In the lotion, my hubby chose the blue lotus scent. I usually do not really care for floral scents and tend to stick to more scents with either fruity or spicy notes. This scent was very pleasent though. It did not have a perfumey smell or a chemically smell to it. Only a light and breezy floral scent that filled the room while in use, and disappated slightly afterwards but still subtly lingered on the skin for about an hour after use.

The moisture this lotion leaves you skin with and the velvety feeling will last you all night. As far as the product itself lasting you, (I've only used it once so far) I would say it will last you awhile. A little lotion goes a very long way with this one. The Dona body lotion is in a very lovely package. It features the traditional elegant lace print pattern on a pinkish red and yellow label. It is a very discreet bottle that looks like you could have picked it up from a regular old bath and body store. No one will ever suspect you bought it from a sex shop!
The pump bottle is great because it allows you to be able to pump lotion on with only one hand. It also gives you a little more control over how much product you are using at one time unlike those squeeze bottles or pour spout bottle varieties.

The product description says that all Dona products are infused with aphrodisiacs, but I did not experience any heightened sensations while using this lotion. In fact, shortly after my hubby used it to give me a full body massage, we were both sound asleep.
