(Ginger/Pomegranate) Pleasing to Your body & Senses - Part Five

According to Your Dictionary.com, the term sensual is an adjective. The definition states Sensual describes something that is pleasing to your body and your senses. The example that they use is "An example of sensual is a soft fabric that is enjoyable to touch".

Classic Erotica did a fantastic job naming this line of products because each one I have experienced so far is pleasing to my body and senses. The Rejuvenating Body Oil is no exception.

I like to use this as a body moisturizer after a shower. When I take a shower, I like to pat myself dry while leaving some water on my skin and then rub this on top of the water to lock it into my skin. I then air dry or towel off but continue to rub this in over my skin to seal in the water.

You can also use it in the bathtub to create a "rejuvenating spa oil bath".

I also like to just spritz it on my arms if I want a bit more moisture or I will spritz it into my hands and rub it in a bit for some moisture if I've been doing something that makes my hands dry.

The ingredients are:
Glycerin Soja (Soybean) Oil, C11-13 Isoparaffin, Fragrance (Parfum), Aleuites Moluccana (Kukui Nut) Seed Oil, Camella Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Copulandrone, Couline-alike, Ethylhexlglyverin, Helianthus Annuss (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Lecithin, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed oil, PEG-4 Dilaurate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Reconstituted Andronone, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Zea Mays (Corn) Oil

The best way to explain the texture is to show you how it looks. I spritzed it on my arm with 8 shots of the lotion - so that I could get it so the camera would pick it up ok to show you. Normally, it would only take one spritz for one arm at most - and possibly I could do both arms with one spritz if I had just showered.

I also did an experiment to see how it would work in water and here is 1 teaspoon in one cup of room temperature water:



After five minutes, the oil all joined together to form one huge oil circle. Unfortunately, the camera could not get a clear shot of it.

When you spray this out, it comes out as an oil-based mist. It only "runs" if you spray a lot of it on your arm. Otherwise, it stays in place fairly well until you rub it in.

I am going to take a moment to compare this to another brand here on Eden Fantasys. When I smell this, I think of spiced pomegranate. I believe it is the way that the ginger interacts with the pomegranate smell. It is a somewhat sweet smell but also spicy. In a way, it reminds me of spiced cider only with pomegranate instead of apples. I find that this body oil spray lasts longer than most others I have used.

In comparison, when I smell the DONA pomegranate mist body lotion, that is a very sweet fruity scent made up of berries and melons. It is a crisp, clear scent where this one is more of a mulled scent that is slightly heavier or richer.

I like the scent a lot (of both products) and I find that this product's scent stays strong longer than most other products I've tried by other companies. It does die down to a lighter smell after an hour or so, however the scent is still a mulled, slightly spicy pomegranate smell.

I love the way this softens my skin. My favorite way to use this is right after a shower to lock in moisture. My skin feels fresh all day long. I prefer to layer this with the other items in this line, specifically the body butter.

So my body routine looks like this whenever I use a line of products.

First I shower with the exfoliating product if I can get it and also the body wash. When I get out of the shower, I pat myself partly dry and spray the oil based mist/lotion if the line carries it. That is what this is. I then follow up with body butter on the majority of my torso and then use the moisturizing lotion on my hands.

I did try this without the body butter and found that it still kept my body fairly moisturized. It didn't keep the scent as long and I wanted to reapply it in the early afternoon. Usually, if I use a body butter, I will use it once in the morning and once at night and then just use the lotion on my hands if I need to freshen up.

With layering, the scent lasts longer and is stronger than without layering.

Although this product states that there are pheromones in it, I am not basing any part of this review on that statement. I am basing all comments and opinions on how well this product performs as an oil based spray lotion and on how it smells to me as a woman.
