I Love the Spa!

For a cute, goes anywhere, little eyeshadow-lip gloss combination you can't beat the Not Soap, Radio Face Palette. The colors are everyday wearable and can be heightened for evening wear easily. The compact fits just about any size bag. All in all it is a cute addition to any girl's make up kit.

extremely useful review
I don't normally buy eyeshadow from anywhere but Bare Minerals because I have terribly rash prone skin and easily irritated eyes but I have used quite a few of the Not Soap, Radio products and none of them irritated my skin in the slightest. So I went out on a limb and ordered the Face Palette At The Spa.

The Face Palette is a set of four eyeshadows and four lip glosses. The eyeshadows are light purple, darker purple, light creamy brown, and darker rich brown. With my brown eyes this is the perfect set of colors for everyday eyes or more dramatic going out for the evening eyes. The eye shadow has a subtle shimmer that picks up the light with the light brown being very shimmery.
The ingredients for this eyeshadow are: Talc, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride Kaolin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Phenoxyethanol, MethylparabenA, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben. May Contain: Black Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Yellow Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Red Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Ultramarine (CI 77007), Mica & Iron Oxide (CI 77019, 77491), Mica & Titanium Dioxide (CI 77019, 77891)

The lip shades are colored strangely and at first I wondered what Not Soap, Radio was thinking but when I paired them with the eye shadow shades I saw that they do actually match and add a lovely put together look that doens't allow either eyes or lips to overpower the other. The lip shades are very sheer and impart only a bare hint of color to the lips. It goes on very light but you will feel it on the lips. The color is very subtle and looks good with a clear gloss over the top for more dramatic effect.
The colors are a brownish pink, orangey red, medium deep pink and light pink.
The ingredients of the lip glosses are: Polybutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Ceresin Wax, Microcrystalline Wax (Cera Microcristallina), Silica, Phenoxyethanol, MethylparabenA, Theylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Ascorbyl Palmitate. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Black Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Yellow Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Red Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Yellow 5 Al Lake (CI 19140:1), Red 7 Ca Lake (CI 15850:1), Blue 1 Al Lake (CI 42090:2), Mica & Titanium Dioxide (CI 77019, 77891), Iron Oxide (CI 77861)

Spa

Both the eyeshadow and the lip gloss clean away easily with facial soap and warm water.
Now to the nitty gritty, The eye shadow is very subtle but can be applied to be darker with a bit of effort. It has a lovely shimmer and it doesn't flake off like other cheaper brands can. It goes on easily without creasing and lasts all night without the need for reapplication.
The lip gloss is sheer and will 'kiss off' but since the compact is so small it is easy to reapply the gloss.
The entire compact is as small as a powder compact and it can fit in even the smallest evening bag. It is cute and whimsical.
The compact comes with a lip brush and soft shadow brush combination applicator. Personally I use the eyeshadow brush as a lip brush and disposable sponge applicators for the eye shadow. The user should use a fingertip to break up the bristles on the lip brush before using as they are a bit stiff at first but break up easily.
Experience
I haven't had any problems wearing this brand of eyeshadow. No stinging, watery, red eyes or face breakouts so I am very happy and satisfied with this product!
Follow-up commentary
While I do still like this product it has gone to live in my daughter's make up kit. My skin is stupidly sensitive and while initially I didn't have an adverse reaction to the ingredients in this kit after a few uses I started noticing the tell tale burning sensation when I would put it on. Rather than risk a really bad reaction I allowed my daughter to use the kit.

She loves the colors and the way the pigments blend easily together to create the fantastic eye looks she loves. She is already planning on buying more from this line.
