It's Like Breakfast On My Face!

Overall, it's a decent moisturizer for those with dry or normal skin. It's a tad pricey for its size, so I'd wait for a sale or use a discount on this. It'd make a great gift if you know the person loves oranges and would like to feel as if they've shoved their face in a bucket of them!

Pros
Helps dry skin, smells like you dipped your face in oranges, will last a while.
Cons
Very little sandalwood scent, small bottle, can make your face too oily at times.

Use

This is a great face moisturizer to use directly after a shower or (if you're like me and still have acne) after using an acne cleanser of some sort. It does give your face a bit of an oily sheen for a while after applying, but using a dry towel to dab your face a bit helps.

There are some allergy concerns if you are allergic to tree nuts.
Ingredient list: "Distilled water, almond oil, organic aloe vera gel, beeswax, shea butter, carrot oil, vitamin E, grapefruit seed extract and pure essential oils of sandalwood and neroli."

"Synthetic and Paraben Free. People Tested."

(Random Note: Since it contains beeswax, I'm not sure if it's vegan)

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It's the perfect amount of thick and runny, it will move on your skin but it won't fall off easily. I had it on my hand for 5 minutes in the picture below at a 90 degree angle.
5 minutes elapsed.

The moisturizer is a pale yellow that quickly fades to invisible as it's rubbed into your skin. It only takes a few seconds for the pea-sized drop to cover half of my face.

Taste / Aroma

I expected the sandalwood to be a stronger player in this, scent-wise. Alas, it just shows up as a faint after-scent. The Neroli oil is derived from the bitter orange tree and is quite an overpowering, but not unpleasant, scent when applied to the face.

I did taste it just to have an opinion, and it's a light orange zest taste with a viscous texture on the tongue.

Performance

I've been using the product every other day and since I've gotten it, the bottle has barely reached the 1/4 gone mark. It absorbs into the skin fairly quickly but if need be, it can be cleaned up with a wet wash towel. The amazing scent of oranges brightens my mood pretty quickly, but I am rather disappointed that the sandalwood is barely there. If you can barely smell the amazing scent that is sandalwood, I don't think you should include it in the title, just the ingredients list.

Packaging

It was sent in a standard plastic bag, like the lubes I get from here are. No user instructions in the bag, just on the bottle.

"To enjoy: Shake well and apply pea-sized amount as needed to clean, moist skin."

Compared to a pop can.
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Travel friendly
    • Would make a nice gift

Experience

It does work for the dry spots caused by my acne cleanser, and as a plus, it doesn't burn like other moisturizers when I apply it! This isn't for those with oily skin, as it'll just make your skin take on the appearance of a glazed doughnut.
