Kama sutra oil of love review

I recomment Kama Sutra's Oil of Love for those looking for a subtle, less-harsh warming flavored lubricant than many of those found on the market today. Just be careful to test it for product compatibility if using with toys!

extremely useful review
I’ve been a big fan of Kama Sutra’s Oil of Love|Kama sutra oil of love - Oil by KamaSutra for a decade and a half now, and still continue to re-purchase it whenever I run out. I believe it is a high-quality product that stands highly above other “warming” lubricants that are on the market today.

First of all, I love the scent of the original Oil of Love—spicy and quite exotic, a pleasure to both smell and to taste! I’ve tried most of the other scents, but always keep coming back to this one. The scent and flavor are both natural and subtle, without any of the mouth-numbing or synthetic tasting properties of many other flavored oils|Edible Treats: Lotions, lickers, gels.

The Oil comes in an attractive package, an ample, corked bottle inside a gift tin—classy like most of Kama Sutra’s products. Pouring the oil from the top of the bottle can be a bit messy at times, but as it rubs into the skin easily and provides a gentle warming sensation, this can be half the fun!

The warming sensation of Oil of Love IS far more subtle than that of a lot of warming gels and lubes|Sex lubricants on the market. Oil of love provides a pleasant, diffused warmth rather than a concentrated “hot” or “burning” feeling! I wouldn’t recommend using it with toys, but we’ve used it for intercourse before with pleasant sensations and no harsh side effects (and I have very sensitive skin). The Oil washes off easily with water (or, for a more fun experience, licks off easily with saliva!).

The Oil is slightly thicker and tackier than most traditional massage oils|Massage Oils & Lotions, and I don’t recommend it for use as a general massage oil. It absorbs quite nicely into the skin (again, without any irritation on my part), but doesn’t provide the friction reduction I look for in a wide-area massage oil. However, the warming properties make it ideal for massaging smaller areas, like the temples if you have headache or the back of an aching neck.
Follow-up commentary
It's somewhat oily-feeling, but this is still the one "warming" product I come back to time and time again. It warms wonderfully, without being too hot or causing any burning. Definitely a reliable product, every time!

I love that it's a cork as opposed to a screw on cap- definitely inventive!

I think Kama Sutra's packaging is becoming less attractive over the years, unfortunately, but I think the Oil of Love is still classy!
