Kiss of Raspberry, Hug of Vanilla

Deliciously scented bubble baths tend to catch my attention and this product certainly fits that bill! With ingredients that allow the product to soften and hydrate the skin, this is excellent for those who feel dry in the winter time! An excellent way to unwind at the end of the day in the bath or shower! Scented like raspberry and vanilla and containing marshmallow extract? Count me in!

extremely useful review
Milk made bath and shower cream is a delightfully scented bath and shower gel by the company Cake Beauty. They've brought some delicious items to the table but nothing like this in a long time!

The cream comes inside of a clear squeeze bottle. The lid is a snap-top that can be screwed off if you'd prefer. It can easily be opened or closed with one hand if you are using the snap-top, but shouldn't easily come open if you take it with you in an overnight bag. I would definitely take extra precautions, though, just in case something presses against the push-button a bit too hard! The purpose of this gel is going to be one of two things.

1) you may choose to pour a generous amount under running water for a foamy bubble bath
or
2) pour a decent amount onto a washcloth or loofah and use as a body wash

Because this product contains a ton of ingredients great for providing nutrients to the skin, it is great for either use! Free of parabens as well as triclosan, this product is safer to use than a lot of other similar products! I found that tricolsan is an ingredient added to a lot of products as an antifungal and antibacterial agent! It is currently (as of 2011) under investigation by the FDA, so I'm glad that it's not in this gel! Who knew, antifungals in shower gel! If you love to learn about these things, here is the wikipedia for triclosan.

I typically use this cream as bubble bath, which it works incredibly well for! It is vanilla and raspberry scented, and it smells soothing and sweet. I can definitely get a sense of raspberry but the vanilla didn't smell like the type of vanilla I was expecting. Instead of vanilla extract as the scent I'd thought it would, it smelled more like that vanilla flavored yogurt. You get 17 fl. oz. of product inside of a the snap-top bottle which should last a long time since it takes so little for each bath! The scent is a lot stronger inside of the bottle, but once you pour it into the water it is not as strong. The room is filled with the sweet scent and it clings to your skin after you get out! Although it doesn't stick to you long, it does smell very good while it lasts. I did wish that it lasted longer, so this is the one thing I was bummed out about! Bubbles do last a decent amount of time in the bath; a good 30 minutes. Though they do fade down from bubbles to a foam, their presence makes the bath more relaxing due to the scent. Either way the scent lasts on your body for hours after you get out of the shower or bath!

ALLERGY WARNING
This product does contain milk and although this will not be ingested if you are HIGHLY sensitive to dairy, you may want to consider this! Also, it does contain glycerin!
Experience
I absolutely love relaxing in a nice bubble bath with this cream! It smells so good and soothes me, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft! Although it contains glycerin, this is not a problem for me, and most bubble bath products contain this ingredient anyway! I haven't put a very big dent in the product yet, and I've already used it twice! Another successful buy!
Follow-up commentary
Since my initial review, I've gotten a few more of these. I still love the Milk Made scent and it has quickly become one of my favorite scents! This still works best as a shower gel in my opinion, but I still enjoy a nice hot bubble bath with raspberry-vanilla suds!
