Mom Approved!

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great lip balm at a good price. You get twice as much as you would expect to get, and a little goes a long way with this stuff. Goes on smoothly and lasts all day, as long as you're not touching your lips constantly like I am.
Moisturizes well, Sturdy container, Cute message on top, A lot of lip balm in one container
Wish there were more messages to choose from

extremely useful review

This is a great little lip balm to give as a gift "just because." I gave it to my mother for Christmas, along with some flowers and a self-heating coffee mug. She absolutely loved the lip balm (a little more than I had expected). It's perfect for lips that get dry and chapped, and it isn't the type of balm that makes chapping more frequent after use. It just does its job, and that's what I love. I got one for myself as well, just to have some extra lip balm lying around, and I love it just as much as she does.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture/consistency/thickness/viscosity is literally the same as Vaseline. It has better moisturizing properties, and tastes a lot better, so that would be the only difference. You really have to be careful when dipping your finger into the stuff or you'll end up with too much on your finger. It does feel a little greasy, but after a minute or two that goes away. To me it's better than most lip glosses I've used.

Taste / Aroma

Both my mother's and my lip balm was a fruity flavor. Neither of us have been able to make out the exact flavor... The best we can relate it to is like a fruit punch or Hawaiian Punch. It tastes great, we just have no idea what the hell it tastes like! The scent is very sweet and quite pleasant. Overall we are pleased with these aspects.

The moisturization is good for me for about an hour. However, I'm the type of person who is constantly licking my lips, drinking water, or touching my mouth. So with any lip gloss/balm, I'm reapplying it often. I will say that the moisture lasts, and it isn't as if it dries out causing me to have to reapply it. I just reapply when I don't feel it sitting on my lips any longer.

My mother says (sitting right next to me) that she only has to use this product twice a day, if that. She puts it on in the morning before work and she feels moisturized all day. She does agree that when she is drinking out of a water bottle, or drinking her Starbucks on the way home from work, it wears off easily if she has just recently applied it.

I loved how these products were packaged. Each came in a little paper box that was decorated and said "Not Soap Radio" on it. Nothing sexual, so it's perfect to give to anyone you'd like. The box has a hole in the top revealing the balm container with the cute message on the top.

The balm container itself closes tightly, and the lid doesn't come off easily. For that reason, it's perfect for travel and easy to store at home without any sort of mess. This is good, especially since the balm is so thin. You wouldn't want it getting everywhere.

Overall, both my mother and I are satisfied with this product. It's great for the price, and the message on top is a cute way to let someone know that you care about them. I've seen the other balms that Not Soap Radio sells and I can't wait to see if they come to EdenFantasys!
Follow-up commentary
I absolutely love this stuff. It's been a while that I've owned it, so it makes sense to do the follow-up right now. I recommend this to anyone needing a good lip balm! High quality, good flavor and scent!
