What is it, and why are you telling me about it?

This is a hand cream from Principessa, and I'm telling you about it because while I got the smaller version in another set, I wanted to have space to really go into detail about it. In general though, it's a hand cream, which means that it's best used for giving your hands a quick rub down.

What does the bottle look like?

The bottle you'll get contains 3.4 fluid ounces of hand cream. That's too much to take on an airplane with you, but enough that it should last you a while. The bottle itself is a light pink, and has the name of the product you're using (cattiva diva silky hand cream), and the back has a blurb in English and French, along with ingredients.

So just what are the ingredients?

The ingredients are listed as water, caprylic/capric triglyceride, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, glyceryl stearate, peg-100 stearate, cetearyl alcohol, limnanthers alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract, prunus persica (peach) fruit extract, glycerin, dimethicone, sodium hyaluronate, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, fragrance, ceteareth-20, c12-15 alkyl benzoate, isopropyl myristate, steareth-2, steareth-21, benzophenone-s, tetrasodium edta, triethanolamine, sodium polyacrylate, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, hexylene glycol, ci 17200.

How well does it work?

I'm pretty happy with it. It doesn't really seem to do anything as far as deep moisturizing goes, but if you don't have extremely dry skin you should be fine. It comes out of the bottle easily enough, but not so easily you end up wearing half the bottle. It's thick and stays in place well, and smooths around wonderfully. At first it feels like all other lotions or creams, but after just a moment or two there's no greasy feeling. I'm left feeling fresh and like there's a light powdery feeling. My hands don't feel like they need to be relotioned at all until after I've done something to get them wet when I use this.

What does it smell like?

This features Principessa's Bellocia scent, which they describe as seductively sweet, with top notes of peach and vanilla flower, middle notes of night blooming jasmine and ylang ylang, and bottom notes of sandalwood and warm amber. I wouldn't describe it quite as seductively sweet, but I enjoy it all the same. To me, it's got a powdery floral scent. It's easy to smell on the hands when you first put it on, but becomes more subtle as time goes on.

How much will I need?

Well that really depends on how big your hands are and how big of an area you're trying to moisturize. My hands are relatively petite, and the dollop you see in the photo below was enough to do both of my hands and about halfway to my elbows.

Got any pictures?

Sure! Here's a few for you; one closeup of the hand cream, and one that shows how well it stays in place.

Experience
I really like my Cake hand lotion. I even did go buy it in another scent. But I find myself using this one a lot more often because I prefer the, dare I join the bandwagon, Victorian scent of it. I love the scent, and I could smell my hands for hours and hours and hours afterwards.

I know that there are some that are going to dislike the scent overall, but I think that for those that do like it, this will be a winner. It's probably not going to do anything for deep moisturizing, but it's more effective than a lot of other lotions.
