Plug Me In And Turn Me On iStimulate Me Baby!

Have you ever injured yourself and went to physical therapy and they used electro stimulation on you? Well I have and I fell in love with the electro stimulation device that they had used on my back. I always wanted to know where I could get one for myself and never thought to ask my doctor about how to get one, because I knew it would be pricey. Well thanks to Eden I found one and am in love all over again. The Nexus iStim is great for back pain, muscle relaxation and sexual stimulation.

extremely useful review
The Nexus iStim is the next generation of Electro-Stimulation. It is a state of the art, sexual stimulation unit that uses gentle electrical impulses to excite (THE DELICATE NERVE ENDINGS HIDDEN THROUGHOUT THE EROGENOUS ZONES.)

I had been introduced to Electro-Stimulation on my third visit to physical therapy; mind you I have been 5 times already. This was the only thing that I found, besides going to see the chiropractor, which helped my back. They used to use this and a heating pad, which I do own; I will be using the same method they used at home for me. So when I seen that Eden had this I had to have it, I started saving away to get this bad boy.

The Nexus comes in a cute little hard plastic carry case with a handle on it. There are blue buttons on the top of the handle that you slide to the side to get it open. When you open it up there is foam lining on the top and the bottom. It has two compartments, one holds your iStim and the other has the attachments and 2 wires in it. There is also an Instruction Manual and an Appendix on the top part of the case. This also includes 4 Gem Stick Self-adhering Electrodes. There is also a 9 volt battery that is included with the kit; I was not expecting that in there at all. I am glad they added it because I thought for sure I would have to go purchase one.

The iStim also has toys that you can purchase separately they are the Nexus C-Ring, Glide, Neo, Titus, Excel, and Vibro. You can find these on the Nexus site. It is nice that they give you the attachments for these. Also if you don't have the toys I am sure you will be just fine with the four electro pads.

The iStim itself is black and it says Nexus iStim on the bottom. There are to blue buttons on the top with numbers that go all the way up to the number 8. It also has the off position. There are also two spots on each side of the buttons for the wires to fit into. To get to the battery compartment you have to slide the black part all the way down. It can be a little bit tricky; mine flew to far when I took it off.

The screen part is used by LCD display, which I like this idea. To get to the push buttons, you have to slide the panel down on the iStim. When you do this you will see the blue buttons which are as follows: Mode, Time, Width and Rate. These are used to set the pattern.

There are 7 modes to cycle thru; they are Burst, Continuous, Modulation, Modulation 2, Modulated frequency-length, Strength intensity, and Strength pulse. I tried them all out but the only highest I would go was up to a 3 because they were to strong and it has been a while since I have used any electro stimulation.

Wash the area where you are going to put the pad and make sure the area is dry. To clean the iStim unit the instruction manual says to clean by wiping gently with a damp cloth moistened with a mild antibacterial soap mixed with water. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. Clean the wires with a cool, damp cloth. This is pretty neat it says you can prevent tangling by putting some light powder on the wires as well, to use talcum powder. For the adhesive it says you can use tap water but don't use distilled water and let it dry. For the accessories, you can clean them with hot soapy water or a special toy cleaning solution.

I would recommend storing it back in the plastic carry case and in a cool dry place. Make sure to put the adhesive pads back on the plastic it came on. I would take out the battery so you don't have a problem with it corroding on you. Here is a site that I found that you can get adhesive pads just in case I was looking around for ones at a decent price. https://www.lgmedsupply.com/electrodes.html

Now for some safety facts:
-Never place electrodes above the waist, this means on head, over eyes, in the mouth or on the throat.

-Never put near heart or on breast they can lead to complications.

-Never touch anyone connected to a iStim.

The following people should not use:
Pregnant women
Epileptic or seizure-prone individuals
People who suffer from heart disease
Anyone who has a pacemaker or who use a heart monitor
Anyone with metal plates or pins in their body
Experience
Since my review was over 800 words I had to leave some things out. So I am adding them here. The iStim has a 1 year warranty, but of course that is only under certain conditions.

Another thing it may be helpful to wear plastic gloves to touch the electrodes. I made a mistake and went to move one because I thought it was slipping and got a nice strong tingle though my fingers. Next time I will turn it off before I do that.

I am so happy that I got this, the first day I used it I had been really tense and had been trying to crack my back and my neck and could not get it to crack anymore after the couple times that I tried. I put this on and went thru the pulses till I found the one for me. When I was done I went to crack my back and my neck and it popped with no problem it felt so good.

The following day I used it while laying down, again my back was in pain, I had put the iStim on and oh my god no one should do this it felt so good I ended up falling asleep with it on. I am so glad it has the timer on it to turn the machine off, but not the button itself.

When I try this for those special zones I will give an update, but for now this makes great for my muscles. Yes it is pretty pricey but it is well worth it. Especially if you know the feeling of going to therapy and using it. Sadly I just saw that it went down after I purchased it, but I hear even if you got from your doctor it would be way more than what Eden offered it for.
Follow-up commentary
I am actually going back to therapy again and am so glad I had got this. They are using it in therapy and it is good that I have one at home as well. Did not realize how bad my back was.

As for using it in the nether region's. I have tried it once close to my thighs. It mostly tingled. I have not gotten brave to try it any where else yet.

Thanks for the review! I have the (cheaper) Pipedream TENS unit, and absolutely adore it for sexual and not sexual uses. Thanks for the link to the supplier for pads, I found it helpful!

    Well done on the video!

(Please don't take this as me being mean, but you may want to check your reviews over before you post next time...you have quite a few grammatical and punctuation errors that Wordpress should catch for you.)

I hope you are not on here just to make peoples things go up and done. Posing under another name. Next time explain yourself on why you think it is not useful and leave a comment don't hide behind your profile. If there is something I can add I will.

What an awesome review---I wouldn't have thought to use it for physical therapy so your perspective really added a lot I had already planned to save up for this after loving the Jopen Intensity but this seems even more multi-purpose. Thanks
