The Contour M + Afterglow sensory set by Jimmyjane, is a very sensual kit that would make for a lovely gift that still holds some innocence.

Each item comes with a manual that has information in five languages, and the set also comes with a very packed box of matches. Both manuals for the candle and stone have safety warnings. You should definitely read those first before using either item. Now to go into detail about both items…

The Contour M ceramic massage stone: Well, the stone is definitely sturdy! There were no cracks on the smooth ceramic massager, and as soon as my boyfriend pulled it out of the box, he dropped it. Still no cracks or chips! It's roundish on the top, and comes to four "corners".

The manual refers to these as nodes, and includes guidelines on how to use the stone. There are three ways the stone can be used in massage:

* the round "large dome" side for broader, more shallow massaging
* multi-nodes for a bit deeper of a massage
* one node only for a more intense pressure point massage

The stone can be warmed in warm water, or by pouring some hot wax into the center cavity. It can be cooled by putting it in the refrigerator for a few minutes, or running it under cold water. It can be cleaned with dish detergent and warm water. This stone could also be left out around the house, as it is just an innocent massager, and not a more sexual-looking toy. However, keep it out of reach of children, pets, or clumsy friends, as it could crack or chip if dropped.

The Afterglow [Pink Lotus] candle: The scent of the Afterglow candle is very strong. The flowery part is somehow simultaneously light, but also very potent. However, the scent isn't bad. It can fill a room, but it's pleasant, just a little strong for sensitive noses. I found it was not very natural smelling. For an "all natural" candle, I was really surprised to see seventeen lines of ingredients. Of all of the candle scent available, this one by far has the most ingredients in it. But the wax is extremely soft. Even before lighting it, the wax it almost like lotion.

The manual for the candle threw me off a little. On the front is a picture of some candles and the little application brush. In the instructions section of the manual, it mentions using the brush to apply the wax if you'd like. This got me to look through the box at least twice, unsure of whether or not a brush was supposed to be included. Please note that the Contour M + Afterglow sensory set does not come with the brush.

Overall, the Contour M + Afterglow sensory set is a lovely, relaxing kit that provides everything needed for a sensual massage.

I love the stone! Even using it alone on my neck and shoulders, the nodes provide just enough pressure to really relax my tense muscles. The candle was a little too strong for me, but a lit candle in general is very sexy to me, so I like lighting it.

Well, it's grown on me! The Afterglow candle smells really nice now that the scent has faded a little. It was really strong when it first arrived, but now it's lovely to burn and smells nice, but not nearly as strong. The stone, I've actually used a little less, at least with my boyfriend. Because it's so hard, it's difficult to know exactly how much pressure to use with it, and how exactly to use it on a partner. I still use it alone, pressing one node on my neck or shoulders for some relief, and in that way, it still gets use. But that massage candle! It makes everything slippery, but not slimy; oily, but not greasy. It's very sensuous and lovely to use with a partner!
