Ten Pounds of Flowers in the Air!

Let me first state that I did not like this massage oil by Kama Sutra. I tried very hard to like it! It had that same wonderful consistency and long-lasting-ness that I know from their other massage oils but I just could not enjoy this product!

I used it to give 1, not 2, 3, 4, or 5, just ONE massage and it was dreadful. The problem was the extremely concentrated floral scent. It gave both my girlfriend and I a bad headache! If it were not so strong, It would definitely be better!

To those who enjoy floral scents, you will most likely enjoy this a lot more than I did!

Well now let me touch upon what I DID like about this massage oil. The consistency was spot on with their other products. It was not too thick or too thin, it was just right! That was one of its saving points, along with how long it lasted.

Well now, back to the smell of this oil. I will say it again, it was dreadful. It smelled like someone took the concentrated scent of ten pounds of flowers and put it in this bottle. From the first moment it came out of the bottle, to how it smelled even after using it, and how it made the room smell, it was definitely not a good thing for me. It might have been nicer with maybe half or a quarter of this aroma, yet it was not.

YET I must say, this is NO reason for anyone not to try this. If you enjoy floral scents or stronger flower-like scents, then this may be for you! To each their own, as I usually say.

Now let me do a quick return to how this actually worked. First off, that great consistency helped it last a long time. I did not have to use a whole lot to achieve a lot; I could use a smaller amount to achieve a full back massage (thank goodness, for I do not think I would have wanted to use that much of this stuff!).

At first the scent was just a little off-putting, but as we kept on using it, it just became too much. I personally usually have no problem with light floral scents, yet this heavy floral scent was definitely too much for me to handle and left both me and my girlfriend with a headache. If you are used to heavier/stronger scents, then I would imagine this would not be too bad for you.

Now to another good thing about this strong-smelling stuff: the lovely bottle it came in! I personally enjoy how Kama Sutra does their labels for their massage oils; they are very nice, to the point, and are visually appealing. Thus another saving grace for this oil. Also the flip/pop top, whatever you would classify it as, makes it easy to squirt a smaller amount into your palm.

I tried very hard to like this stuff, as I said, yet that strong scent really was a huge turn-off for me. Because it has a visually appealing label on the bottle, a good consistency, and it is long-lasting, I gave this massage oil three stars, for while that scent was not the greatest, it still had great properties besides it.
