When I received the bottle, it was wrapped in plastic with shrink wrap around the cap. I didn't have to remove the shrink wrap to take the cap off, however. The design and style of the spray can is very similar to other popular body sprays available on the market now. It does seem smaller and more suitable for taking it with you if you're going out for the night, or traveling. The contents are under pressure though, so I don't think I'd recommend leaving it in places like your car on a hot day.

Immediately coming out of the bottle, the scent is quite strong. I asked my husband to give himself a spritz and it made both of us cough initially. As time went by, however, the scent rounded off and blended more naturally, as you would hope for any kind of scent to do.

Truth be told, I don't know if it was the pheromones in the spray or just the thought of my husband, but I was turned on shortly after I made him spray himself. Not to mention, for me, just smelling almost any added scent on a guy will drive me a little wild. A good smelling man is a turn on regardless and I'm sure it can't hurt to have the pheromones added, which are supposed to "awaken deep subconscious desires". I'm not sure if anyone could deliberately and specifically tell you that it's the pheromones that did the trick with this spray, unless they didn't particularly like the scent and ended up turned on anyway?

The scent itself is what I would call spicy with some citrus notes. I'm not an expert on scents or anything, but it's quite pleasing to my nose. It's not too different from other manly scents I've come across during my husband's foray into the different deodorants and body washes that are so popular now.

As for the spray, I sprayed some on my skin just to feel it and it dries fairly quickly. The spray mechanism gives you control over whether you want just a bit to liven up small spots on your body or have a continuous spray as you douse yourself in it (which, really men, you don't need to do that!). I can't tell you if it works better or any differently if it's sprayed on skin versus clothing, but the scent amounts to pretty much the same. However, it mellows out sooner if sprayed directly on skin.

This product will probably come in 2nd to any scents a man is already used to using, especially if he's already involved with somebody. It's a standard "guy" scent and would be good to use if single and going out to pick up a potential date/mate/partner, especially to provide any extra "oomph" you might need, provided by the pheromones. My husband hasn't used it since we got it in, but in a pinch for a quick spritz, I bet he'd grab it, especially considering how travel-friendly it is, compared to the other spray-on scents he uses.
