Fascinate body spray with pheromones - spray discontinued by Topco Sales - review by Viktor Vysheslav Malkin

To use this body spray you should uncap the lid and spray onto your body (avoid eyes, mouth, and any other orifices). Be careful, you do not need half a canister! A few good sprays will do, a little goes a long way. You do not need someone to smell you from 6 feet out. If over-used, you may get a negative reaction (as is with any body spray).

This is an alcohol based body spray, thus it is not oily. It is a very thin, consistent to water, and absorbs very quickly. This will not cause stains on your clothing. The fragrance remains consistent throughout the use of this body spray and does not leave any stickiness.

Please do not ingest this body spray, this is not meant for human consumption.

The smell is amazing; it is more musky than fruity. Overall it has a great smell. The smell is not too powerful, but just like any cologne or body spray it has the ability to be when over applied. I have asked five people independently test the fragrance; all of them enjoyed the scent. Does this mean everyone will? Absolutely not, Smell is a personal preference. Some may love it, some may hate it.

I have found that this Body Spray last a very long time, it may last up to five or more hours. After a light workout the scent is still present. Granted I only used a margin of what I see (or smell) others wearing. I find it to work great using it sparingly (or lightly). I prefer a more subtle scent than an over powering scent. Even applying this lightly the scent lasts.

I love the packaging, no porn stars or models on here, no handsome guy or hot model hugging. To me this is saying a lot. A good many of pheromone products will show two gorgeous models embracing, and to me it is just...unrealistic (not to say that beautiful men and women do not use this). This however has a beautiful bottle/canister.

From gray top to blue bottom and everywhere in between just works. The "Y3" logo stands out and looks very pleasing to the eye. I love the texture used in the "Y3" Logo and the flare like highlights near the bottom just send it through the roof.

The white lettering on the bottom of the front stands out against the blue. All the writing is very clear, visible, and easy to read, even the very small (almost need a magnifying glass) copyright text is clear and not blurry. Due to the color scheme, not all the text is in one color. Some of the text is black, which makes it stand out against the gray background; some text is white which stands out very well against the blue background.

The ingredients are clearly marked for all to see and proper warning labels are listed. With the great color scheme, functionality, and the easy to read labels/text this is a very well designed package.

The bottle has no leakage problems.

Supposed to attract the opposite sex.

I love the smell of this stuff. It alone is worth 5 stars out of 5. As for pheromones and their effectiveness, I can not say, all I can tell you is that I did not notice a huge difference in the approach of the opposite sex. Maybe some will get a boost in confidence by using this, a placebo effect, if you will. I am not wild about all the pheromone marketing; every company wants to tell you "This works! This works! Ladies will be all over your junk!". Surprisingly enough this product’s manufacturer does not seem to make a lot of wild claims, however even this canister says "A pheromone-enriched body spray that makes you irresistible." Although a sentence just bellow this is what I find the company (which is Topco) deviates from the rest, with this simple line "Employing the chemistry of the powerful attractant alpha-androstenal. Pheromones are believed to awaken deep subconscious desires. Make chemistry work for you." The word I picked up on is "believed". Marketing is marketing but something seems to be more… honest if you will.

Please remember that the scientific community is still debating whether human pheromones actually exist. What is used in most colognes and body sprays is Androstadienone (also known as androsta-4,16,-dien-3-one), which is believed to have pheromone-like attributes. I am not going to put Pheromones on trial here, but I think that if you are interested in trying them then you may want to research the subject further.

All the pheromone talk aside, this is a very nice scent. In fact, it is a new favorite of mine. I will wear this more often than most, but not every day. I would rate this right up there with "Mambo" my favorite scent to date. I would have to give this Body Spray five stars out of five. My first ever 5 star rating, and first without any list-able Cons.

As for the pheromones, I can only tell you that I did not notice a big difference in the reaction of those of the opposite sex that I encountered. It does not mean that it does not work, or works very little; however it just means that I did not notice any change for me. It may work for others; the effectiveness of pheromones is a debated subject. The best way to find out is trying them for yourself. I have heard strong arguments for and against pheromones.
