Weighted Nipple Clamps by Cal Exotics are kind of a nice medium between the classic butterfly and tweezer style clamps. Tweezer clamps can be made quite uncomfortable but are generally used more for show and butterfly clamps have only one intensity and it’s quite high. These clamps offer some interesting versatility that makes them a lot of fun to have around.

The clamps themselves have rubber padding that protects the nipple from rather nasty metal teeth. These rubber caps can be removed but I’m pretty sure the teeth would actually cut the skin which is dangerous and opens the wearer up to infection. They are a pretty tight when just clamped normally but they also have a screw going through the top of the clamp that allows you to change the intensity. They can be set to dial things back for those who are unused to wearing clamps for just have a lower pain tolerance.

The two clamps are attached by a chain and there is a chain hanging off that in a Y shape that leads to a weight. The product does not really provide sufficient information on exactly how heavy the weight is. The whole set is supposedly .4 lbs. The weight is quite hefty in your hand and provides a strong pull on the nipples. If you were feeling particularly sadistic, you could hold the weight and let it drop while attached to the nipples but that’s up to you and your victim…err I mean partner!

The weight can be pretty easily removed if you’re feeling nice or just trying to get nipples used to the clamps themselves before adding intensity. These are nice and sturdy, I've given them a few good tugs, both on and off and had no problems with them coming apart. It's possible but you'd really have to work at it.

The weight itself is coated in the same rubber as the tips of the clamps. The whole set is pretty easy to keep clean. The metal and rubber and both be cleaned with water and mild soap. It’s worth noting that rubber is a porous material that cannot be completely disinfected so if these were to come in contact with the sort of fluids or substances that shouldn’t be shared, you’ll want to exercise caution in using them on anyone else.

These came in a pretty non-descript little plastic bag, not much to the packaging and not what I elected to keep them in. I generally leave them loose in a pocket of my toybox or toy bag so they don’t get too tangled.

I am still totally in love with these! They make it into my regular rotation. They are nice and sturdy but I'd buy them again if anything happened to them!
