Pink padded pouch - storage container discontinued by Don Wands - review by Hummingbird

USE: The Pink Padded Pouch which only comes in one size, small is the perfect multipurpose storage for not only my toys but jewelry too! This will not only be great for travel keeping roaming eyes from seeing inside but good at home too and just left on a dresser or bureau. Though I must admit, it is so pretty and fluffy, if I saw it out in a hotel room as a maid I would want to check inside and I was a maid so I know.

The soft velvety outside continues on the inside also doubling as a lining.
Between the outside and inside is wonderful soft plushy stuffing. Unfortunately I was unable to find any documentation what the stuffing was made from. I am assuming since the outside material was made of polyester, the stuffing must be too.

And as defined by EF Guide to Materials:
Polyester is a category of polymers, or, more specifically condensation polymers, which contain the ester functional group in their main chain. Usually, polyester refers to cloth woven from polyester fiber.

Polyester is the material that has low absorbency. It is combustible but due to its thermoplastic nature, it tends to shrink away from the flame source and often self-extinguishes.

Design / Shape / Size :

5” wide x 6” long x 1 3/4” thick though reported by the manufacturer as 5 1/2” long and weighing in at 0.1 lb

The design has a strong and sturdy nylon cord with a plastic push lock clasp that is quite sturdy itself and locks securely around the rope as well as slides smoothly up and down it.

There are only two seams, one down one side of the length and the other across the bottom giving it a clean smooth finish.

Care and Maintenance:

As defined by EF Guide to Materials:
Polyester may be hand-washed in tepid water with the addition of gentle detergent. It can be ironed at low temperatures, stands up to abrasion and wears well.

There is a product tag inside the pouch stating the following:

Packaging: The pouch come as is in delivery box, not even celophane wrapping. I had ordered two tube of lube, a glass dildo and stockings and there were no external marks or stains on the pouch because everything else was well protected/wrapped. The brown paper packing kept it secure so it wouldn’t be crushed during shipment.

The function of this is obvious, storage, but that is left up to the imagination, this pouch can be used for storing just about anything fragile in the home, nick-nacks, glass, it’s up to you to decide.

This is the first time I've ever purchased a storage device of this nature on-line and am pleased with what I have in my hands so far. My next update on this product will include wear and tear, how well the seams held up and results of washing it.

I love this pouch and that it protects my Premium Blue Glass eggs safely when traveling. The draw string stays securely locked in place during travel so I have no fear of losing my very valuable and stimulating eggs.
