A Cool Ride!

Zero Tolerance Cooling Masturbator Lube is a water-based lubricant that is specially designed for masturbation sleeves. However, it's useful for any sexual experiences where you might need a little extra moisture! Since I don't own a masturbation sleeve and don't have a partner who uses them, I applied the cooling lube to my genitalia before sex. It worked about the same as other lubes but with an added tingly feeling. I will elaborate more on my experiences with it below.

This lube is clear and runny. It feels a bit more oily than other water-based lubes I have used before, but it feels silky rather than greasy. It is INCREDIBLY smooth, and a little goes a long way.

Because Zero Tolerance Cooling Maturbator Lube contains real menthol, it tastes and smells quite minty. However, I would not recommend eating it because it does not taste good. It's more of a chemical-flavored minty than a sweet minty. The scent is not very strong--you have to have it near your nose in order to smell it.

As I said before, I used this product directly on my vulva instead of with a masturbator sleeve. I only needed to use a very small amount in order to feel the cool tingle on, and around, my clit. I enjoyed the sensation, but it may resemble a burning feeling for some. I didn't feel the effects of the lube right away--it took about a minute or so before I felt the tingles.

One thing I really liked about this lube is that it does not dry sticky on hands and fingers. I spilled a couple drops of it on my comforter and it did not stain. It is long-lasting; I think most people will find that they only have to reapply once, if at all.

I tried this lube with a partner who said that it felt pretty nice on her nipples, but she would not recommend using it anally.

The bottle contains a description of the product, list of ingredients, suggested directions for use, safety instructions, and an expiration date (mine, which I received in December of '12, says it will be good for another 3 years). The lid has a screw-off cap with a squeeze tip. There is also a QR barcode on the bottle that can be scanned with a QR reader on a smart phone. I could not get this feature to work, but that is most likely because of my QR reader and not the code on the bottle.

While the cooling sensation is definitely the most notable feature of this lubricant, it is also special in that it does not contain glycerin or L-arginine. Because it is water-based, this lube can be used with any type of toy material.

I love this lube! While it won't be my new go-to lube for all occasions (because sometimes I just don't desire cool tingles), I'm glad to have added it to my collection. I look forward to using it again, with and without partners.
