Wet fun flavors 4-in-1 - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by ~LaUr3n~

Even though I am not a big fan of Wet lubricants, I wanted to try this because it is watermelon flavored. I can say that I didn't like this product enough for it to increase my overall opinion of Wet lubricants, but I don't feel like I wasted my money. The Wet Fun Flavors 4 in 1 says it is a flavored-sugar free serum for tasting and oral enhancement, warming for sensation, massage aid, and a body glide lubricant. It's definitely better at some of those things than others. It's best at being an oral enhancer because the watermelon flavor tastes really good! I'd only use this as a lubricant or massage oil if you have to though. It tends to get sticky and or thicken up, making smooth movements not the easiest thing. It requires reapplication when that happens. For the price, it's a good deal to get so many uses out of one product, but don't expect to be wowed. What is nice about this product is that it is water based and the bottle is a great size.

Ingredients: Glycerin, Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors

Unfortunately, while this lubricant is sugar free, it is sort of a misnomer. I say this because it is not glycerin free which causes the same problems that sugar can in products like this. I hate when companies do things half assed like this. Be warned that glycerin has been known to cause UTIs and yeast infections in women. Good news is that it is L-Arginine and Petro-chemical free.

I got what I expected from a water based Wet lubricant. It's slightly runny, but nothing too bothersome. The lubricant feels nice enough at first, but quicky gets thick and not in a good way. I could tell pretty much from the get go that this lubricant was about to get sticky and it did. It requires reapplication if it is being used for massage or sex. It does mostly stay where you want it to, a plus of course.

I didn't expect such a good flavor or scent from this inexpensive product, but the watermelon tastes just like candy, watermelon flavored Jolly Ranchers to be exact. It is a bit sour before it is sweet, just like the candy, so if you are not a fan of sour candy, this probably isn't the best choice for you. It also comes in cherry, but I can't attest to how that one tastes. I didn't choose it because a lot of cherry flavored lubricants end up tasting like cough syrup in my experience.

The smell is great too, but it isn't very strong unless you are close to it. The smell and taste don't linger much once you've licked it initially. You will have to reapply for the same effect. Each drop is equivalent to about three licks worth of fun.

Claim 1-Sugar free flavor for oral enhancement:

This is the best use for the product. If you use it in small amounts, it doesn't get sticky or messy. The taste doesn't taste sugar free and will probably be liked my many if you like candy. It can be used to aid in blow jobs or cunnilingus or can be placed on the nipples for a sweet treat there as well. Honestly, you can put it anywhere, but I wouldn't wait to long before having it licked up. It does get thick and sticky with time and might not be as easy to lick up. Another good use for this product is to get rid of the latex taste, or mask it after having sex with a condom if you intend to finish with oral. I absolutely hate the taste or even smell of latex and this has a strong enough scent and taste to cover both wonderfully. Afraid of what rimming is going to taste like? You can use it to coat the asshole too! Even if you are not concerned about the taste of yourself or your partner, this can be a simple addition to your routine play to make it more fun and a bit different. The best part for us is that we both liked the taste. It's usually one or the other. Remember, be careful where you put it if you are prone to UTIs.

Claim 2-Warming:

The warming is pretty mild. At first, I felt it right away when I rubbed it in, but it quickly went away and could barely be felt. Blowing on the lubricant does bring it back a bit, but who wants to keep blowing to start some burning loins? Not I. If you are looking for a warming product as the main reason you want this, look elsewhere. It does warm, yes, but not nearly enough to make the effect add much to the experience, even during a massage. If you haven't ever tried a warming product, you might still find this pretty cool. I know I did with my first warming product.

Claim 3-Massage aid:

I would probably say this were better if the warming was better, but it is not. The serum doesn't stay slick long enough and starts to thicken too quickly. It's not good at being rubbed in either. The liquid sort of separates and doesn't keep the entire area you applied it to covered. If you insist on using this for massages, I would only use it for small areas and keep to things like hand jobs or fingering where you can easily clean it up.

Claim 4-Body glide lubricant:

Just like with the massage part of this, I would only use this as a lubricant if you have no other option. It needs to be reapplied often and can cause UTIs. It does get sticky icky too. It can help if you mix it with a bit of another water based lubricant that you already know has little to no taste. This can make the lubricant more slick and last longer.

So as a four in one product, it doesn't do its best at each aspect, but for those on a budget or for those who have not tried a lot of these things before, this is an excellent option to be able to try a variety of things at a no risk price. It's also nice to be able to only have one bottle out instead of three or four, but if high quality is what you want, this isn't it. I'm giving it three stars for all of these reasons.

You get a decent amount for the price- 1.5 fluid ounces. The cute little bottle has a red push to open cap that hasn't leaked on me. The bottle is easy to operate and hold with one hand as long as the bottle is more than half way full. After that, you may require the use of two hands. The packaging is sort of discreet in the fact that the language on it isn't overtly sexual. Instead of saying lubricant, it says body glide, for example. It's small, easy to hide, and great for travel too. It has a long shelf life as well. Mine was manufactured in 2010 and doesn't expire til 2015!
