I swore by Anal-ese when I was a beginner at butt play. It desensitized my anus just enough to make the preparation and penetration much easier to handle. It has a pleasant smell that doesn't distract from the activity at hand. As I have sensitive skin, I was hesitant at first, I can have strange reactions to products that claim to be safe for all skin types. However, I never had any issues with rashes or irritation.

Anal-ese doesn't work the instant you apply it. As the directions state, it can take up to 15 minutes for it to have the full effect. Possibly due to the fact that my nervous system has uncommon reactions to numbing agents, I was nearly completely numb within the allotted 15 minutes. For me, it definitely did what it claimed it would do. I had a much more enjoyable experience once I began using it than my first few experiences without it. The only issue I ever had with it, and, as I previously stated, it could be due to my sensitive skin and nerve issues, if we were in a position such as doggy style, the Anal-ese would "run" down or mingle with our fluids and numb other areas such as my clit and vaginal entrance, as well as numbed my tongue and lips if they came into contact with my partners penis after it had come in contact with Anal-ese. Now that I am an expert at butt play, I choose not to use it, due to the extreme desensitization it created.
