Warming lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by TheHardOne

I found this lube is best for activities that don’t require much lubrication. It works great for giving oral. I would not recommend it for sex or masturbation. It doesn't have very good lubrication properties. It should be noted that the lube I received expired the month I received it. I don't expect that the expiration would have affected the taste, texture, or lubricating properties. In order to activate the warming sensation this lube requires friction, kind of like Bengay.

This lube is extremely thick. It could be best compared to the consistency of honey. Like honey, it is thick, sticky, and a bit gritty. It also has a yellowish color to the gel. The lube had lots of very small, unique bubbles in it, which were suspended in the gel. I found it to have no lubricating properties. I would say it had more of a sticky texture.



The ingredients are: glycerin, deionized water, hydroxyethylcellulose, aloe vera extract, ginseng extract, cinnamon flavor, aspartame, methyparaben, propylparaben, DMDM hydantion, tetrasodium EDTA.

The lube has a very sweet taste and a strong cinnamon flavor. The sweetness is kind of like honey, both in terms of flavor and consistency. It also contains aloe vera and ginseng, that you can't taste. It is made out of “an edible rubber.” Edible rubber doesn't sound very appetizing to me, but it wasn't that bad tasting. Compared to other edible lubes, it wasn't bad.

As a result of the lube's stickiness, it took a lot longer to clean-up than I expected. It does require soap and water to clean up this lube after use. The performance as a lube was poor. I expected it to be better, since the package claims “incredible lubricity.” The good news is, when the lube is rubbed or squeezed, it dose create a mild warming sensation.

It is difficult to get the bottle out of the container. The top was tough to open. When I tried to open it, the top broke off. As you can see from the photo above, now I just unscrew the top to get the lube out.
