I liked the Good Head Sensual Kit and I also liked the Good Head Kit For Him, so when I was offered the chance to try the Good Head Xmas Kit for Her I thought, "Why not?"



This is a kit to help improve your oral sex life. It is targeted toward being used on a lady but can just as easily be used for an amazing blowjob. The cutest piece of the kit is a sheet of paper offering tips on making good head even better. It is a lovely little note about how to make an extra special night of it with your lady. The advice is well meant and very sweet. Following the instructions will lead to a pleasurable encounter; I have no qualms about recommending this kit for both seasoned players and for complete novices. There is something here for every level of experience!

There are many pieces to this kit, each with its own texture and consistency, so I'll outline each piece:

*The Good Head Gel is exactly what it sounds like; a gel. It is slightly runny and not terribly goopy. It squeezes easily and a little can go a long way. It doesn't particularly stay in place, especially as the area grows warmer. It is very slick both in the mouth and on the skin and doesn't dry particularly sticky.


*The Good Head Chapstick has a beeswax base that makes it a bit heavier than most lip glosses. It rests heavy on the lips though it does soften them and make them very kissable. It stays in place very well, though it will 'kiss off' and need to be reapplied.

*The Deep Throat Oral Anesthetic Spray is thin, watery and numbs the mouth, throat, gums and lips. A few sprays is all it takes to completely numb any area.

*The Good Head Oral Sex Tingling Mints are firm and have the texture and consistency of a Polo Mint or a Breath Saver. They can be sucked or chewed and they will leave your mouth tingling, though we have not noticed any real significant transfer of these sensations to either the vulva/clitoris or penis. There are only four mints, so experimentation is quick and almost inconclusive. The best guess is it might or might not work as intended: it really depends on the recipient's sensitivity.

*The vibrating toy has some slight ridges on one side and a smooth lip on the other. The toy feels like TPR and doesn't have the usual pong of jelly but I cannot be sure. I can say that I have yet to use a jelly toy that hasn't caused me irritation and I have used this toy quite a few times without a problem. Either way I would be choosy about who you share this toy with, as covering it with a condom would be awkward or impossible. It feels sticky and picks up lint like TPR can.

Given all the parts of this kit I will outline the taste/Aroma for each piece individually:

*The Good Head Gel has a surprisingly complex taste. Normally I don't particularly like the taste of artificial strawberry flavoring, but I have to admit to really liking the taste of this gel. It has a pleasant taste that is sweet and slightly reminiscent of strawberries. There is a hint of raspberry and blueberry that round out the strawberry flavor, making it much more palatable. There is a slightly bitter taste, at least for me, but I will admit to being one of the lucky people who can taste any sort of artificial sweetener. Your mileage may vary.

*The Good Head Chapstick included in this kit isn't quite the same smooth and silky chapstick that came with the Good Head Kit for Him. The flavor, however, is AMAZING! I found it to be sweet, strong and lasting a long time. For hours after the first time I used it, I would get a hint of sweetness when I chanced to lick my lips. The flavor came across completely from a kiss and Sigel agreed that it was, indeed, very tasty. The scent is reminiscent of those drug store lip glosses I used to buy as a kid.

*The Deep Throat Oral Anesthetic Spray has a strong alcohol flavor and taste. It also has a lightly medicinal taste and smell as well. The flavor is ok as far as it goes: it doesn't taste as harsh and medicinal as Chloraseptic but it does have a slightly bitter taste. I am not fond of the feeling of my tongue, palate, and throat being numb, so I haven't used this stuff much. Sigel has used it for a sore throat, however, and it has a better flavor but works just as well, in his opinion, as Chloroseptic.

*The Good Head Oral Sex Tingling Mints are not Strawberry flavored as I first thought they would be: instead they taste like a Polo Mint or a sweeter and less intense Altoids Mint. They do a great job of freshening the mouth and breath, but don't really do much else.

*The vibrating tongue toy doesn't have an appreciable taste or smell.

Now to the nitty gritty of the kit:

*The Good Head Gel is perfect for lubricating the mouth without numbing the throat, tongue, or palate. It isn't particularly sticky, but does contain glycerine, so ladies who may be sensitive might want to experiment with a small bit, gradually increasing the amount used on the vaginal area. This is not meant to be a sex lube, and since I am sensitive to some glycerine containing products I did not try to use it as a lube. In my opinion it would be too thin to do the job properly. It does lubricate the mouth though!

This is a mostly sugar free product so it's unlikely to bother all but the most sensitive of diabetics.

This gel washes cleanly away with soap and water, and generally we do feel the need to wash after using it.

The ingredient list is pretty straight forward: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Cellulose Gum, Flavor (Aroma), Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Fragaria Chiloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denatured, Sodium Saccharin, Citric Acid, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate. May Contain: Caramel, Red 40 (CI 16035), Red 33 (CI 17200), Blue 1 (CI 42090), Yellow 5 (CI 19140)

*The Good Head Chapstick has a large amount of beeswax, so it rests heavy on the lips but does the job of slickening up the lips for a great blowjob. It also provides a great flavor for either kissing or the blowjob itself. I find it gets a great reaction if I pull it out while we are driving and put it on.

It doesn't actually do much of anything, as far as I have been able to ascertain, for cunnilingus - except for making the lips of your partner soft and inviting, I suppose.

The ingredients are: Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Beeswax, Mineral Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) butter, Ozokerite, Castor Oil, BGT, Tocopheryl Acetate, Flavor (Aroma)

*The Deep Throat Oral Anesthetic Spray does numb whatever it comes into contact with. I have found that it can desensitize the penis or clitoris if you aren't careful, making it kind of difficult to achieve an orgasm for some users. I am not particularly fond of the Deep Throat Spray, but that has more to do with an aversion to the numb sensation rather than it not working properly. While it did not lessen my gag reflex it DID numb the area. Personally, I found that my gag reflex was heightened by the numbing sensation.

This is considered a medication so be sure to keep it out of reach of children.

*The Oral Sex Tingling Mints will make your mouth, lips and tongue tingle, but they don't exactly do much of anything that we could feel for the genital areas. Your mileage may vary, of course, and I wish you a lot of luck in your trial! Whatever happens you'll have fun, right? They do taste amazing after all.

The ingredients are: Sorbitol, Peppermint oil, Spearmint Oil, natural Flavors, Calcium Stearate

*The Vibrating Tongue Toy is the highpoint of this kit. It fits over the tongue and comes with a powerful little mini bullet that is, unfortunately, one use. After several uses for 30 minutes or so at a time it is still going strong so I would estimate that it has enough juice for around 4-5 hours of continuous use. This little mini bullet can cause numbness to the clit, but when it is inside the stretchy sleeve it is muted enough that it is highly pleasurable. It has only one speed, but as it is meant to be used on the tongue, you won't be missing any further pulsations or speeds. The stretchy ring fits snugly over my small tongue and Sigel's larger one and, after forcing my entire hand in the ring, it still hugs my tongue securely.

The material of the toy is soft, and when lubed up with the Good Head gel or saliva it glides over the vulva, clitoris or any other part of the body you are focusing on with ease.

The body of the toy is stretchy enough that a larger bullet or just a different mini bullet could be fitted into the toy, extending the usefulness of the tongue.

Wash the sleeve in warm water with an anitbacterial soap or brush it down with your toothbrush and favorite toothpaste. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry fully before storing. The bullet is meant to be inside the mouth, so I assume it is water proof! The kit does mention not to use this while in the bath or shower, however, so take it for what it's worth.

Store out of direct sunlight and in a lint free area for best results.

The Good Head gel is in a slim and squeezable plastic tube that is recyclable.

The Good Head chapstick is in a white hard plastic tube with a twist up bottom and pop top cap. It is also recyclable.

The Oral Anesthetic Spray is also in a plastic bottle, but it has a pump spray top. I would recommend keeping the heavy plastic guard that comes with the bottle to prevent it from being sprayed accidentally, especially if you are traveling. This bottle is recyclable just as the others are.

The mints are packaged in a cute little waterproof envelope.

Most of the products can be opened with one hand. The labels on the bottles are emblazoned with the words "Good Head" or "Deep Throat", so they aren't particularly discreet either sitting in the bedroom or for traveling.

None of the bottle leak if they fall on their sides.

Personally, I dislike tongue vibrators because I find them painful. I did try this one out and alas, it was still as painful as others I have tried in the past. It does fit nicely over a finger and can be really pleasurable if used either solo or on a partner.

This works mind blowingly as a toy for cunnilingus, I will say. I wish I could tolerate the the thing on my tongue but I do like it nonetheless.

I cannot recommend the Deep Throat spray, though I can say that it does work as it is intended. It will numb the area, whether you appreciate the sensation or not will be up to you!
