The original Eros is an all-purpose lubricant. Anal sex, vaginal sex, toys ... and while it's less useful for oral, it certainly doesn't pose a problem. If you haven't used a silicone lube before, do your research - you're probably looking for a dimethicone-based product, and it should list the stuff first. To my knowledge, Pjur has a particularly clean record in terms of hypo-allergenic products, so this one may be useful if other lubes are bothering you. Eros's greatest claim to fame is that it does not wash away in water very quickly. So have sex in the shower more - it's good for you!

Not that there aren't a few downsides and usage concerns to take into account. You must avoid using this lubricant with silicone-based toys! The material will degrade and eventually flake away! I cannot stress this enough - unfortunately, you cannot have your silicone cake and eat it too. Keep in mind that Eros will also stain sheets and clothing. In my experience, a silicone stain will diminish after a wash and will be gone completely after two.

Eros has an oily texture, but fear not - it is absolutely thin enough to retain sensation. If you need a particularly thick lube for anal sex all the time, this might not be the perfect product for you, but it's soft enough to prevent discomfort under any circumstance. As mentioned before, this is an all-purpose product, and achieves the kind of perfect-medium thickness to be a condom-ready substitute for massage oil. After sex, the lube wipes off with a towel, leaving only moist skin.

You can tell this isn't attempting to be a scented or particularly interesting-tasting product - but more importantly, it doesn't taste or smell like anything. While this lubricant isn't necessary for oral sex, if the combination happens, it's not going to taste like chemicals.

Eros lasts an impressively long time. Nothing but rave reviews about the longevity. This kind of lube in general has a history of not being incredibly easy to wash off, but as long as you're careful in its application, you shouldn't have any issues. Might take several cycles to get out of sheets or clothes, just so you know.

Keep in mind that a little bit of this lube went a lot farther than we expected. The bottle size of 3.4 fluid ounces might not sound like a lot, and the speed at which you use it up will vary a great deal between couples. But compared to water-based lubricants, you will not be reapplying lube as often and you will not be using as much in the first place. So if you're looking at cost, don't think about it by the ounce.

Not terribly discreet, but not obvious either. It's a little enough container, and if you're worried about friends/roommates/relatives seeing it, keep it in a drawer somewhere. Through experience, I know that the bottle can be carried from one place to another in a small jacket pocket.

The product you are looking at is a top-quality, but highly normal lube. It conducts heat, but doesn't try to make any of its own. Hey, we're fine with that. Is that too much to ask, in the time of warming, tingling, cinnamon-flavored liquid velvet?
