Long-Lasting Lubricant

Moist personal lubricant is a thin, water-based lube that delivers an exceptional performance. It's long-lasting and silky smooth. It doesn't dry out after use; instead it absorbs into your skin and leaves you feeling soft and not sticky. This would be great for vaginal or anal penetration because it is water-based and is easy to clean off/out of the body. It could also be used for external use as it remains slick for a very long time. Because this is water-based it should not be used in the bath, shower or any situation involving water. It will wash off and you will lose its effect. Silicone would be best for those situations.

The Moist lubricant is very runny. It's not very thick at all; it is similar to running water. I thought thicker lubes lasted longer than thin ones, but Moist throws that misconception straight out of the window. When I compared the viscosity to my System JO H2O and to my Smooth & Slick, the results were that the Moist outlasted both of them. It outlasted them by a long shot! I prefer thinner lubes over thicker lubes, because they feel slicker in comparison. It also doesn't leave you feeling sticky. When it starts to dry it gets absorbed into your body and feels like a protectorant. It feels smooth and makes you very wet. One pump really goes a long way with Moist.

The smell of the Moist isn't strong and lasts as long as the lube. It sort of has a plastic-y smell to it, but it is pretty faint. We didn't notice the smell until we put our noses up to the lube bottle. It isn't overpowering or even noticeable during sex. This is a flavorless lube so it has no taste that is intended.

The lube actually lasts longer than I do. I go solo for about an hour and I can still feel the lube on my toys after. I don't use porous toys so this is why it doesn't absorb into the toys. During sex it lasts a short while less because it gets absorbed a bit. This is a water-based lubricant so it takes no time to wash it off. It's water soluble and will easily wipe off with a wet towel. I used to be a huge fan of the System Jo H2O but the performance of the Moist outweighs it by a landslide. System Jo is now my 2nd favorite in terms of performance. The Moist lubricant also had no stickiness whereas the System Jo can be a bit sticky when it starts to dry.

The lubricant is in a 2 fluid ounce plasic bottle with a silver cap and a white dispenser. One of the things that I love most about this is the dispenser. Typically, lubricants have the pop top which doesn't prevent leakage or control the amount of lubricant that pours out. The dispense makes this worry-free. You just pump it and a generous amount of lubricant comes out with no leaking. There weren't any instructions included, but the ingredients were on a white card that was tagged to the bottle with a rubber band.




Ingredients:

Aloe Vera: A plant that has healing and soothing properties and also acts as a skin protectant.

Nettle Extract: Is high in iron and a supplement used to treat UTI’s and other health issues. I don’t know what it’s doing in a lube…

Rosemary Extract: A rich source of antioxidants and Vitamin E.

Balm Mint Extract: Has soothing and healing properites.

Ginseng Extract: Anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants.

Water: H2O

Glycerin: Improves smoothness and provides lubrication.

Hydroxyethyl: Is a thickening or gelling agent.

Ethylcellulose: It's a Polymer.

Diazolidinyl Urea: It's an antimicrobial preservative. It is a formaldehyde releaser…it slowly releases formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is known to be a carcinogen...

Carbopol: This is a thickening polymer.

Sodium Benzoate: This is a type of salt that is used as a preservative.

Methylparaben: This is a paraben and antimicrobial preservative.

PEG 6-32: This is a Viscosity-increasing agent.

Triethanolamine: It's a PH-adjusting chemical.

Nonyphenol: Is a surfactant; wetting agent. It's banned in some countries for health hazards…

Citric Acid: Is a natural preservative.

I'm very glad that I looked up the ingredients because what I found was shocking. A formaldehyde releaser is in this as well as an Endocrine Restrictor (Nonyphenol).

*Water-based

This lube will seriously last forever. It is very watery and thin, but it's also very slick and lasts longer than alot of thicker lubricants. The performance was great for me, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it again. Now that I know the ingredients, I'm concerned about using this product. Formaldehyde is not exactly something I'm keen on putting in my body. Even in low doses.
