Dr. Flynt's love slick H2O - lubricant discontinued by Hustler Toys - review by friendly

I purchased this water-based lube to use with my new silicone G4 Tiger Vibrator from Fun Factory and I really like it! Silicone toys must be used with water-based lubricants. I had never used a water-based lubricant before. The lube is smooth and not sticky. I hate sticky lubes!
I tried using it in the bath tub the first time and it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. The lube kind of thinned out fairly quickly because it is water based and I was basically mixing it with water (doesn't make much sense I know). When the lube was used in a dry scene, it provided the right amount of lubrication without causing any numbing effects or minimizing my pleasure like some thicker lubes do. No one wants to feel sticky and distracted right after having a pleasurable time! So this lube is great for those of you who want a clean feeling lubricant.

The lube is not very thick but it is still slippery enough to provide comfortable lubrication. Thicker lubes make it more difficult to feel the details of the toy in which you are using. I would recommend this lube for msturbation and solo use. It may also work for intercourse as long as you begin to lubricate a while after you put it on. If you have a lot of difficulty self lubricating during intercourse then I recommend using a thicker lubricant to prevent uncomfortable rubbing or thinning of the lubricant. I do not recommend this lubricant for anal use. It's too thin to provide comfort during anal sex or anal solo play. I also would not recommend this lubricant for oral sex...it does have a slight off-smell and is not flavored. Since I only use this lubricant for solo use with silicone and plastic vibrators, it fulfills the job I need it to do and I love it for solo use.

I also really like how much lube you get for the price. The container is a fairly good size and the product is nice! The one con that I really had for this product was the container itself. The cap does not stay closed. I read in other reviews that the cap wouldn't close but I didn't think anything of it and figured that it must have been broken but nope! The cap really does not stay closed unless you have it standing upright so the weight of the lube and container keep it closed. There is no ridge or anything to make it snap over, it's just a poorly made lid. The design of the tube is cute and modern.


This lube is NOT good for travel. It is larger than travel size and the lid does not close which could make an embarrassing mess on all of your clothes! I definitely would not enjoy having a random luggage search during that kind of a situation!
