Wicked Ultra Heat is a warming silicone based lubricant. Silicone lubricants are most often used by those looking for something longer lasting than water based lubricants. They don't need reapplied as often, which makes them a good choice for longer sex sessions. Additionally, they don't rinse off as soon as they come into contact with water, which makes them the perfect choice for sex in the shower.
This lube is both paraben and glycerin free, for those who are making a conscious effort to avoid these ingredients. Some people may still experience some sensitivity to the warming aspects of this product, as certain people have issues with specialty lubes like this while others do not. Personally, warming lubes work very well for me, but tingling ones are very irritating. This is something you really have to do some self-experimenting with to see what you like. Now, I'm no professional in this matter, but I'm guessing one of the warming components is the cinnamon oil!
Here is the full list of ingredients: Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Caprylyl Methicone, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Vanillyl Butyl Ether, Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf (Cinnamon) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark (Cinnamon) Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla Bean) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Sweet Neroli Orange) Oil
Now usually, silicone lubricants cannot be used with silicone toys. However, Wicked's website has an
article posted bragging that "Wicked Ultras are safe for use with latex and are compatible with all toy materials." Therefore, I would say the only limitation to this lube would be personal preference! There really are no downsides.
