Slick Me Up, Take Me Down!

ID frutopia is a scented/flavored lubricant to spice up oral sex or intercourse with your lover! It can be used for solo or couples play. This water-based lube comes in many fruitful flavors, I chose strawberry but it also comes in watermelon, cherry, mango, banana, and raspberry. This can be used with any condom or any toy you so choose. This lubricant is vegan and latex friendly, and is L-Aginine and paraben-free which is always a plus!

This toy would be brilliant for giving handjobs and oral sex. However, I would not recommend using this lube for anal sex as it's not thick enough and would probably have to reapplied often. Using this lube for oral is ideal because it won't get sticky. You could easily use this for penetration, but use it at your own discretion because it does contain glycerin, so if you have allergies or sensitivities it can cause redness, irritation, or burning.

This would make a great beginner lubricant for couples because it is water-based, there is no warming, tingling, or cooling sensations, it has a great taste and a delicious scent. This lube would probably work best as an external lubricant for solo play because it does contain glycerin, which can cause irritation or reactions in more sensitive users. It would be extremely complicated to use this in the shower or the bath because of the fact that it is water-based, so it would just wash away.

The texture of this lubricant is thick but silky, similar to maple syrup when it's inside of the bottle, but once it gets warmed up in your hands (or what have you), it thins out and starts to feel more like water. It is very easy to pump out of the bottle and doesn't make a huge mess. I always get a consistent, nickel-sized amount. This lubricant does not stay in place at all which can be annoying if you don't want to make a mess.

ID Frutopia is clear in color and it didn't permanently stain the sheets. It left a small stain that came out easily in the wash. One of the only cons I found while using this product, is it can become uncomfortably sticky if you use too much of it or if you are using it for massage purposes, but it doesn't leave behind a visible residue. This lube does clean off easily with water and leaves a slight scent behind, that smells of berries, which I didn't mind at all.

ID Frutopia smells phenomenal! I chose the strawberry and it reminds me of Bubblicious strawberry bubblegum. It wasn't overwhelmingly strong unless I put my nose right up to the bottle itself. It does leave a light scent behind and you can't smell it unless you're really close to the person that used it.

The taste is more similar to a strawberry flavored candy than actual strawberries, and does taste a bit like an artificial sweeteners. It can effectively mask the taste of oral sex, which is great for someone that doesn't find it enjoyable. Unfortunately, it does have a bizarre aftertaste that lasted about 5 minutes. I can't describe it as anything but medicinal. It isn't extremely terrible, but I could've done without it. Thankfully it did not leave a yucky film in my mouth like I've noticed with some other lubricants.

This lube is naturally sugar free.
Ingredients: The ingredients include: Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin Hydroxyethylcelluiose, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, and natural flavor.

After using this lube for penetration for roughly 20 minutes it did seem to dissipate, but was easily reactivated with saliva. After 40 minutes reapplication was necessary. However, for oral sex this lube failed me. It only lasted between 5-8 minutes. It lasted longer when my lover used it on me as opposed to me using it on him.

During massage it did glide over the skin easily. After 10 minutes it got tacky feeling and I didn't like that at all. Personally, I wouldn't use this for anal sex because I like thick lubricants for anal play as they last a lot longer. This didn't last long enough for me orally or vaginally, so I know for sure I wouldn't be satisfied with it for anal use. This is a water-based lubricant, so it does wash off easily. I hopped into the shower after using it and the water seemed to wash it off before I even used soap.

I found that this lubricant lasted longer when I was using it for solo play as opposed to using it for oral with my lover. This was a fun product to use, but I probably won't purchase again due to the fact that it does contain glycerin and I'm usually sensitive to it. I didn't have an issue with this unless I used it for extended periods of time. Also, it does become sticky if we use it for anything other than oral. (Bummer!)

This bottle of lube came in a 3.4 fl oz. clear bottle with red and clear shrink wrap plastic around it. On the front of the bottle was 'ID Frutopia' and a small picture of a strawberry. On the back of the bottle was a simple description, directions for the lube (In English and a few other languages), and warnings. The size of this bottle would last me at least a month or two, but of course it all depends on how often you use it.

It is a pretty discreet bottle, and you could easily wrap it up as a gift. If I removed the outside label I could probably leave it sitting out without wandering eyes giving it a second glance.

This lube has a clear pop-cap. After you remove the cap, there is a pump that locks and unlocks making it convenient for travel, and there is no possible way for it to unlock as long as you have the snap-cap on. I thought this was great because I could store it in my toy box (at room temperature) and not have to worry about it leaking out everywhere.

I got a little more than what I was expecting with this lubricant. For 10 bucks I couldn't really go wrong. I gave this lube 3 stars, but I probably would've given it 4 stars if it didn't contain glycerin. I was pleased with the smell of this lube and it's longevity. This is not my favorite lubricant, and I only use it occasionally when my fiance' and I want to make oral sex a little more tasty. When this bottle runs out I will probably purchase another because it's fun to have on hand for the nights we want to spice things up! I was impressed with the flavor of this lubricant and I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, water-based lube. Just beware the glycerin!
