Tighten it up needs to tighten up...

Simply, this product didn't do for me what it is intended to do. I did like the light tingle, but there was no change in tightness.

Use

This product is intended to tighten the vaginal opening, thereby increasing sexual pleasure for the woman and her partner. It would seem to me that this would be a higher concern for a heterosexual couple than a lesbian couple. This tightening gel will work best for women who've given birth and didn't quite return to their "pre-baby tightness." To avoid any reactions downstairs, test this gel inside your elbow to see if you have a reaction just in case you aren't sure about possible reactions to the ingredients. As aloe is a key ingredient, this product is a bit "slimy" or slippery and that aspect reactivates with water. Menthol is another ingredient that some individuals may be sensitive to, but it isn't a high concentration of it; there is just enough to give it a pleasant, cooling tingle. I didn't notice any tightening effects, nor did my husband. I was kind of hoping for something that never happened. I even tried again later with some toys and didn't notice a difference.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The gel isn't a particularly thick substance, but it is quite slippery, not sticky or greasy. The pump makes it very easy to dispense, but I felt it dispensed a bit much with a full press of the button. When I went to wash it off, I noticed that the slipperiness reactivated upon contact with water.

    • Smooth
    • Thin

Taste / Aroma

I didn't taste the product as it does contain menthol, which I find to be a horrid taste any day of the week. There isn't a strong scent.
    • Bad taste
    • No smell

Performance

The gel took several minutes to soak in, the tingly bit lasted about 30 minutes. We never did notice any difference in tightness before or during intercourse, even after waiting about ten minutes for it to kick in. Again, when I went to wash it off, the slipperiness kicked back in; a good bit of wiping with a washcloth was needed to remove it all.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water

Packaging

There is no packaging for this product other than a clear plastic wrap and piece of tape just to keep the lid on the bottle. There is also a little tab/plug that sticks into the nozzle to prevent leakage inside the cap. The bottle qualifies for FAA/TSA travel guidelines for quantity, but isn't very discreet at all. "Tighten it UP! V-gel" is printed on the front of the bottle. This labeling doesn't completely give it away, but doesn't leave much to the imagination, either.
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Minimal

Special Features

There is extra slipperiness and a little tingle (not too much though) but no difference in tightness for me.
    • Cooling
    • Increases sensitivity
    • Tingling
Follow-up commentary
I tried it another couple times, still to no avail. It simply doesn't work, or didn't for me. Not enough to notice anyway. I'll stick to using my Teneo Uno.

Nice review, sorry it didn't work out for you. What an interesting product... I doubt anything like this could ever work too well though.

I've never had any tightener work. Maybe I just have a defective vagina? hehe

Good review. I suggest you check out some of the vaginal exercisers around the site. Those are awesome, and they do actually tighten you up and keep it that way. Not to mention the side effect of a little stimulation here and there throughout your day!

I have got a set of Duotone Leopard balls, I just never think to use them... I had them out today thinking that I needed to put them to use.
