Volt is a oil used to increase sensitivity by creating a tingling and warming sensation when applied to a woman's erogenous zones. 12v is the maximum strength version of the Volt line, and it definitely lives up to its promises!

Volt comes in both a bottle and 12 pack of individual use capsules. I tried the capsules, and love the design! The capsules are easy to open with either scissors or by twisting off the top. While they are easy to open, the capsules are also durable enough that you can toss one in your pocket or purse, and not worry about them accidentally tearing open, making them ideal for fun away from home. I would be a bit concerned that they could melt if they got too warm, so do take care not to let them get hot.

Note that the oil is paraben L-Arginine free. I have looked up most of the ingredients, and love how natural this product is compared to many other arousal products on the market!

The capsules themselves have no odor, but once opened the oil has a rather strong scent. It smells rather earthy, with a hint of lemon and cedar. I really enjoyed the smell! The oil itself is a rather thin, slightly thinner than a quality olive oil.. more like a vegetable oil consistency. The viscosity of the oil could make it messy, but there is such a small amount in a capsule, it was not a big issue for me.

This oil is made for women, and is primarily designed for use on the clit. It can also be used on the labia, internally in the vagina, anally, or even on the nipples.

According to the package, you should start to feel a warming and tingling sensation 3-5 minutes after application, and it should last up to 45 minutes. For me this was very accurate. My partner applied a full capsule to my clit, and just over 3 minutes after application I began to feel a very pleasant warming sensation. After 5 minutes, and a little friction, the mild heat and tingling increased to more of a throbbing and delightfully intense heat. Due to its texture, the oil spread pretty freely to my vagina, and the heat and tingling was equally intense in that area. During intercourse, the oil could be felt internally by myself, but my partner stated he felt no tingling or heat at all. The sensation lasted with pretty decent intensity for at least 30 minutes, and I could feel a bit of heat for a full hour.

So, did this oil do its job? Oh, hell yes! I have used may tingling and arousal gels and products, and by and far, this is the best one I have ever tried! It had me squirming and turned on right away, and intensified and multiplied orgasms during our whole session.

My partner stated that the product had no taste, but did make his mouth tingle in a rather odd way that other products we have tried did not. He didn't find it objectionable, but your mileage may vary in this area.

Being that this is an oil based product, it may not be safe for use with all condoms, so do be careful there. It should be safe with all toys except those made from latex, but it may not be a bad idea to spot test your prized toys just to be safe.

I did find this oil to be a bit sticky, and needed to shower after use to remove the residue. Oil based products can stain sheets or fabric, but the small amount that is needed to heat things up should not be too messy.

Overall, I could not be more pleased with this product! I love the capsules for tossing into my purse for out of the bedroom fun, but I think I will also pick up a bottle for use at home, as I think it will be easier to dispense one handed in the dark.
