The JO 12 Volt 12 pack is an oil designed to increase sensitivity, cause tingling and arousal, and heighten pleasure for women. The 12 volt variety is the strongest in the JO Volt line; 6 being the weakest, and 9 being the middle strength. This product can be used by both beginners and experienced users alike, although if you have sensitive skin, I would both do a skin test on your arm before using the product, and start with a tiny amount. Some women may be more sensitive to the tingling sensation than others.

The box states the tingling will begin around 3-5 minutes and last up to 45 minutes. It is easy to apply more serum if you don't find that you are experiencing enough tingling within that timeline. I used up to 2 ampules during a 2 hour period trying to achieve more tingling.

I used the product on my nipples, clit, and labia without any unpleasant reactions. I did not try internally as I know that I don't tolerate any warming, cooling, or tingling serums typically. I also did not use anally. It is possible that with vigorous thrusting, some of the oil may migrate from your outer vaginal area to the internal vagina, or possibly the anus, potentially causing discomfort. This did not happen to me during sex, but it was a short and gentle session.

Beware of possible allergies, the ingredients are listed as follows: Oley Alcohol, Zanthoxylum Bungeanum (Prickly Ash Bark), Olea Europaea (olive) Fruit Oil, Eclipta Prostrata Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Moringo Pterygosperma Seed OIl, Melia Azadirachta Extract, Amino Esers 1, Eclipta Prostrate Extract, Lawsonia Inermis Extract, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract

The product is parabens, L-Arginine, glycerin, and petro-chemicals free.

One more thing to be cautious about: I was unable to find any information on condom or material/toy compatibility. I did use with one of my silicone toys and it did not seem to be harmed. Something to keep in mind.

The texture of JO 12 Volt is almost that of olive oil; it is tinted yellow, oily, and has the same viscosity of a light olive oil or vegetable oil. If placed on the top of my hand, it wants to follow the path of gravity and run down around my fingers even if my hand is flat. In my opinion, the 12 Volt may be a little too runny.



It can be easily rubbed into skin, never feels sticky, but is definitely oily and can feel oily on the skin for 10-20 minutes after application.

Use caution when squeezing the ampule to get the Jo 12 volt out; it is so runny that a hard squeeze will send a large stream of oily solution places other than intended. A gentle tip and squeeze will suffice.

The Jo 12 volt smells like a Christmas/Pine tree. It is not an unpleasant smell; but it is strong and it lingers on your skin for at least an hour. When washed with soap and water, the smell is removed easily. Personally, I enjoyed the smell; I found it fresh and invigorating.

Accidentally, I got some of this in my mouth. While I did not notice any taste, I did notice my mouth started to tingle, almost like my skin was crawling. Although it was strange, it didn't hurt or burn.

As much as I wanted this product to work, I was pretty disappointed. I literally poured this stuff all over my labia, clit, and pretty much anywhere I thought it would tingle. I really did not feel very much tingling; on a scale of 1-10, 10 being your clit is on fire, I would say a 3 or 4 at the most. I didn't experience an increase in arousal or easier orgasms. I did notice a tiny amount of increased sensitivity when I used my vibrator. During sex, my husband was unable to feel any difference.

I would say that the minor tingling began after about 5 minutes, peaked around 15, and lasted the amount of time the box says, around 35-45 minutes. You are able to reapply, and I did frequently in a span of about 2 hours trying to get more tingle out of the product, but all to no avail. I used one ampule to start, but added a second after 20 minutes of little to no tingle.

After letting the oil sit for over an hour, and experiencing only the most minor tingling and warmth, I was able to wash it off with soap and water in the shower. If you don't have soap and water readily available, don't use this, as it is almost impossible to remove except with a shower or some sort of oil dissolving solution.

Be careful when you use this product in bed or around furniture or clothing; it stained my curtains (don't ask how that happened) and left an oil spot on my sheets.

JO 12 volt comes in a nicely made cardboard box with a black sparkle finish. As you can see, the black casing surrounds a red housing for the ampules.



The ampule tray is easily removed from the red and black case.


When removed from their tray, the small red ampules are soft and easily squeezed, the amp can be opened by using a scissors or by squeezing and twisting the small top part. Beware, I have squirted an amp by not being careful opening it.



This product is discreet if you don't look too closely at it. As soon as one starts reading the package; it becomes obvious that this is a female arousal gel. I must say that I do find the box attractive, modern, and sleek.
