Bra and g-string set - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by Hot 'N Sexy TexasMama

I never had a sister growing up and I was not allowed to trade clothes with friends. Now that I'm in my 50's and have an adult daughter living at home, life is more interesting. Although she is slightly smaller than I am, she will frequently get into my clothes and "borrow" items. I often wind up giving them to her.

When Eden packages arrive, we both celebrate because while the products are usually ordered for me she often winds up with a "goody" that didn't quite fit or that I'm so-so about. In this case, she fell in love with the bra and even though it looked good on me according to her and my husband, I decided to let her keep it. In the pictures below, you will see her wearing the bra and not me.

I apologize in advance to my regular lingerie readers. I am not using my normal template for this review, partly because this item does not need as much detail as I often give.

So what is this? It is a bra and g-string set made by Coquette. It is currently available in sizes Medium, Large, XLarge and 1x/2x. It is made up of a black flowered lace sewn over a soft tan fabric. The bra has underwire support.

Material & Care

According to the tag, exclusive of trim this is 80% nylon and 20% spandex. It needs to be handwashed and hung to dry. I have not washed it in the washing machine, but I think you could do so on delicate cycle IF you used a lingerie bag.

Measurements

The bra is a total length, unstretched of 35". It easily stretches beyond the 40" mark. The cups themselves are almost 8" long and 10" wide. The straps adjust to a total of 16".

The G-string matches this, however, I forgot to take a photo of it before sending it off with other unused g-strings and thongs to someone who was able to use them. However, if you've ever bought lingerie off Eden Fantasys, particularly Coquette, you probably know how it is a triangle G-string that is like butt floss for the behind.

An important note about this bra

Now I've had bras that open in the front and I've had bras that open in the back. Both my daughter and I prefer bras that open in the front since they are easier to get on.

Coquette however, appears to want to please everyone's preferences, so they have hooks in both the front and the back! That's right - there are four hooks in the front that have only the one setting and then two hooks in the back that have 3 settings which gives you 1" of space to play with and adjust.

I hate underwire so while I like the fabric of this bra, the most I would give it is a four on a scale of one to five with five being the best. My daughter who is slightly smaller LOVES this bra and gives it a five.
