Flirty Valentine set - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by deltalima

Coquette has this Flirty Valentine set that includes a demi-cup bra and panty. The bra has a regular hook and eye closure at the back while the panty is a crotchless skirtini. I think this was appropriately named because I think of Valentine's Day when I see this in my drawer.

Both panty and bra are made with mesh/sheer and it has hearts all over. The pink ruffles complement the tiny pink bows on the bra and on the back of the panty.

When you receive this set, it comes in a sheet of tissue paper which just adds to fun of this set. I ripped the tissue apart and tried top and bottom. The crotchless part of the panty is a bit flimsy and opened wider than I expected. I usually like crotchless underwear but I really think the way this set looked on the model looks much better as an overall design. The elastic band of the panty doesn't cut into my skin and hasn't stretched out yet.

The bra is a demi-cup and having worn them before, I expected it to hold up to my chest but still sit at a lower angle. However, the cups were not as supportive as other demis I have. Even though there is an under wire, the set feels kind of flimsy. That is good and bad. Good in a way that gives you the feeling of wearing something light and freeing, almost like nothing at all. The mesh and open crotch add to that feeling. But, you also don't want to feel uncomfortable, etc. with the quality and support of this set. I think the lightness of this outweighed the feeling of lack of support.


Since this is 18% spandex and 32% nylon, it is advisable to follow the recommendation and hand wash it and air dry.

I ordered a large according to the sizing chart but it was still too big for me. That's one of the reasons I'm guessing the bra didn't sit well. Large chested women should have not problem with this as it should even out. The bra especially will stretch a little so fitting a bit more into it shouldn't be a problem.

This has started showing signs of wear. I use it on average fortnightly and wash it accordingly. However, the lace has a few holes. I highly recommend hand washing if possible to maintain this. Great set though.
