Sensual lace bra and skirtini set - bra and skirted panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by ~LaUr3n~

This was a piece that I never would have thought I would look good in or that I could pull off. I was looking to see what I should review next, and decided to have my boyfriend help me. He saw this and insisted I get it. He picked it because of the cute bows and that it was a shelf bra. The last outfit I got had one and it looked super hot so he wanted to see another one. I was a bit skeptical that this would look good on me, despite his efforts to convince me that it would look great.

It came in the mail and my first thought was that feeling it, it was made very well, was super soft and one more thing: holy cow the front of the crotch on the panties is TINY! Camel toe anyone?!

This outfit has two separate pieces: a supposed to be shelf bra and a matching skirtini pantie which could be considered as the shortest skirt ever!

The top is a pretty vibrant purple in color. The shell of the bra is a mesh fabric with a black lace over lay for the cups of the bra. It has a black trim that is ruffled at the top of the cups. It also features a gorgeous untieable lace bow at the front center that hides a clasp to open it from the front. The back is interesting. It has a T shape that adjusts in the back. The fabric is stretchy and really comfortable.

I have size D breasts and this couldn't be worn as a bra that covered me; it didn't work too well. I just pulled the cup down completely under my breasts for support. I have concluded this is best for small breasts or fake ones. The back is so stretchy that it has to be pulled down constantly because it doesn't support very well. The bow in the front can be untied to unclasp the bra, but I didn't try this because I knew I would never be able to re-tie it to look as pretty and perfect. My boyfriend really liked the bow and that it could be untied. I got a large because I thought my breasts would need the extra room. I think since I had to adjust and pull this down a lot, it actually was too big. A medium would have allowed it to be a shelf bra much better.

The bottom piece matches perfectly. It features the same gorgeous bow, but is placed center on the back of the panties. It is double layered for the skirtini part. The bottom layer is the mesh and the top is the black lace. It is a g-strip style with a very small front. I was concerned that this would just look to small but it actually didn't great a camel toe that I feared and placed perfectly on my body. It sat so well on my hips and didn't cut into me at all. I probably could have gotten a size medium for this as well. I have large hips measured at 39". They fit very well and had some extra room but didn't fall off of me. The bow on these doesn't untie like the top does.

The fabrics are polyester and nylon. This type is heat sensitive and should be washed and dried carefully.This is great because it won't shrink when washed. This type of fabric doesn't get very hot and breathes well so you won't get steamy, which is good if you are using it as foreplay attire or sex attire. Both pieces are see through.

This product was made very well. It is my second outfit made by Coquette and I am increasingly pleased with their production quality. It is made in Canada which was nice since I am so sick of seeing made in China! I didn't see flaws in the design. I think my problems with it were due to improper sizing on my part.

I'm pretty sure the sizing for this product is correct and that i just mis-sized myself, and thought I was larger than I am. It may run on the larger size if anything. And both pieces are the same size. Sometimes I feel the top will be correct and the bottom will feel like it's two sizes smaller. This is not the case for this set. I would think that a large would be good for women 160 or more. A medium would be good for 130-150.

I am giving this 4 stars because of the strange bra design and the smaller cups. I would give it 4.5 though.

My boyfriend loved this outfit! It was everything he had hoped for. And I admit I did look so sexy! I am so glad I gave in and let him choose! His favorite part was the bows, specifically the bow on the butt. He likes when I wear it as a bra, because he likes that my breasts peak out the bottom and he can see my curves. This is a for sure winning ensemble.

I've worn this for my boyfriend quite a few times since I got it. It's one piece that neither he nor I have gotten bored with! It has upheld well and I have not noticed any noticeable wear.
