These mesh panties by Coquette are an absolute must-have. They are comfortable enough to wear every day, but still sexy enough to throw on to model before having a special night in. These are appropriately sized, and well-made without frays or poorly sewn fabric. These are a steal, and I only wish they came in more colors.

When I ordered a bunch of lingerie on buy-out, I added these panties as an afterthought. I thought, well, they don't look that interesting but they couldn't hurt for the price. They ended up being one of my favorite items out of my entire order. Such a surprise too, considering they are panties!
Presentation
These panties come in a plastic bag. There are no frills attached to this packaging. The Coquette tag is very classy and smartly pinned to the panty by a miniature black clothespin and black ribbon. This way you unhook the pin, and do not hastily tear any plastic-attached tag off the lingerie and therefore snag or ruin your garment. The tag is very basic, with a picture of a model wearing the mesh panties and the size information.
The panties are innocently and perfectly folded. I realize that I am foolish to ever try to fold my mesh panties in the same fashion, because I will inevitably fail miserably and end up just folding them in half and throwing them in my lingerie drawer... But anyway!
Very basic, simple packaging for panties. Not the best packaging if you are giving it as a gift, so you might want to spruce that up a bit before sending them to a friend or lover.
Material
These panties are supposedly made out of 82% nylon and 18% spandex. The trim is, as the title suggests, comprised of a satin bow. There is also a small pantyliner area, which I believe is probably made out of very soft cotton (or polyester? I don't know materials really well..). The material is amazing and I am in love with it. It is soft, light feeling across my skin, and it stretches more than enough to fit my body. I've never had mesh panties so soft and comfortable before.
These panties are so comfortable, as soon as I slipped them on, I exclaimed that I never wanted to take them off! I have even slept in them.
These panties are mesh, and therefore see-through. For some reason, my mesh panties are dense and it is difficult to see at first that they are in fact see-through. I think that this is either because the material is black, or perhaps because I need a smaller size (since on the model they are clearly mesh).
The fact that they are see-through is one of these panties' sexy selling points.
Size and Fit
Concerned with Coquette's sizing, as well as my hesitance to buy panties online, I decided to order an XL to be on the safe side. I am very curvy around my hips and butt, so I figured better safe than sorry. I measure 40" across my hips, and the widest area around my booty is 43.5".
EF's size chart for Coquette says that an XL will measure around the hips at 44-46", or size 14-16. I usually wear size 9-11 jeans, but I feel like the sizes here are for dress sizes.
Anyway, these are actually pretty accurate measurements for once. The mesh is so soft and easily stretched that I feel someone who is 4-6" bigger than I will find an XL to be a good fit. I am not having to pull these up because they are too big, either. So I feel the XL might be good for someone who has 40" measurement around the hips and a full butt.
Unstretched, these panties measure about 15" across the top, lying flat.
They also measure for roughly 5-7" of fabric to sit in the front covering your groin (depending on how you personally adjust them for coverage over your butt).
And as for butt coverage, the middle part of the butt, unstretched is about 8.5" across. I realize not many reviewers comment or point this out in panties, but I felt that women who have curves like mine will actually be concerned about the coverage and ass-to-panty ratio. I usually only wear thongs because of this, but I found these panties actually covered a good bit of my butt without making it look awkward or like I was wearing something too small.

These panties appear durable enough to be put in the wash on cold with your other clothing (well, without items that have zippers). You could also put it in a garment bag to be extra careful. I would then hang them up to dry.
Coquette recommends only washing these by hand and hanging to dry. This is probably a much quicker way to wash these panties, as the material is quickly cleaned and they dry pretty fast as well.
Experience
These panties are becoming my favorite new purchase. They are so comfortable to me. The ruffles along the trim of the mesh panties is really feminine without being over the top. The pantyliner (pictured above) is small enough not to be obvious (boyfriend won't notice it while I stand up in front of him), and its design could be beneficial for those who want to slip a bullet in their underwear for some added fun. (It is sewn shut in the back but left open in the front.)
The other sexy selling point of these mesh panties is the bunching and gathering on the butt. This is established by a seam going down the center of the bottom. I feel like this touch is best enjoyed by women who lack the curves of a rounder, fuller butt. I was initially concerned that this would make my butt just look silly, like a wolf dressing in sheep's clothes. However, when I look at my butt in the mirror, the bunching doesn't seem overdone or inappropriate. I think it's just subtle enough to look good on anyone, really.
My boyfriend also likes these. He says they look sexy, and while he isn't the type to go gaga over lingerie, I appreciated the comments from him. When I asked him why he wasn't more enthralled by me modeling new lingerie, he said that these were just sexy and he was more excited about taking them off.
Touche, boyfriend.
I wore these for our one-year anniversary date (late-night movie and dinner). I was wearing a loose, black summer dress and felt very sexy. I wasn't self-conscious about my dress flying up. In the night, they look solid from afar. They also have enough coverage to pass my guidelines of "under a flowy dress" panties. I can wear these under pants or jeans and deal with the lines/bumps showing.
I probably would not wear these under a tight skirt or dress though. And I won't be wearing these to work under my thin-material scrubs.

Well, months later, and I can still report that these are some of my favorite panties I've purchased from EF. Reasonably priced, these panties offer a sexy and flattering cut for the butt!
They have held up well to my washing, (by hand and once in the washer with my other delicates). And they feel so good on my skin still!
Definitely recommend these panties, and I look forward to seeing more colors on EF in the future (fingers crossed).
