Peek a boo lace set - peek a boo bra, panty and garter belt set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by ~LaUr3n~

Leg Avenue has some really cute designs at affordable prices, but most of them are one size fits most. This translates to only fitting smaller sizes, but this piece actually surprised me as to how well it fit me. This three piece set is incredibly sexy and depending on what you are wearing, can be worn under clothing or just as a sexy lingerie piece for the bedroom. It's nt the highest quality, but it matches the price it is offered at.

The Peek a Boo and Lace set from Leg Avenue has three pieces:
*Halter bikini top
*Garter belt
*Thong

The material is of decent quality and the construction =could use some improvement, but overall it's a good deal for the price.

*Material: Good

The majority of the set's design is made of lace. The lace is really durable and thick which I was not expecting. It has a gorgeous swirl and small flower pattern. It is made of 90% nylon and 10% spandex. The lace is a tad scratchy, but it will likely soften with wearing and washing. It does flex and stretch a good amount, but since it is lace, it has limits. There is also a bit of ribbon, which is nothing special. It does have a slight smell to it, so you may want to wash the pieces before use.

*Design/craftsmanship: Decent

Overall, the construction could be better, but it'll hold up for a good amount of time. Let's start at the top. The top is a very stringy bikini. The main down fall to the design of the entire set is how thin the pieces are that hold everything together. The split triangle cups are about 6.5" across at the base and are 7" tall. They are split down the center and have two pieces of ribbon attached on the inside so they will show the nipple and can be tied to keep them semi-closed. When laid down, the sides of the cups overlap. If you have small breasts, there may not even look like the cups are split at all. The bigger the breast that fills the cup, the larger the space of skin that will show. underneath them is just a slim piece of spandex that goes around to the back and ties. At the tops of the cups are ties that go around the neck. There is no support in these cups!

The bottoms are a T-string thong. The triangle portion is 6 1/4" across at the top (the widest portion) and is about 8" long. This is a bit too long in my opinion. I prefer to not wear my undies up high like in the 80's. The panties are split in the middle and have the same ribbon ties that the cups of the top have. The lace is gorgeous and scalloped on the sides like the top as well. There is no pantie liner.

Then on to the garter belt. Four non-split triangles hang from a very slim piece of spandex. Two are in the front and two in the back. In the front center is a small black bow. It might as well not even be there since it is so small! In the back, the garter belt closes in the back with an S clip. There is no adjustment band like some garter belts have. The band does stretch, but it will but into you if it is too small. The garters are adjustable but not removable.

The last piece is my favorite. A matching choker is included. It is a combination of ribbon and the same buckle that appears on the top and bottom pieces. You can wear it front ways so that the buckle is in the front, or you can turn it around and wear it so the ribbon is tied in the front. both ways are cute. It is completely adjustable. The end pieces are made of metal and a hard plastic which is annoying to attach to stockings since it is rigid. They are durable though.


*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash/cardboard box

The tag says to hand wash in cold water. Because of the delicate lace and spandex, I would not put this through a dryer for any reason. Let it drip dry.

It comes in a plastic bag which is inside a cute pink box. The box can be reused and has pictures of a model wearing the set on it.

*Sizing: decent for a one size fits most

In my opinion, Leg Avenue runs small most of the time, especially for their one size fits most pieces. I was surprised that this fit me as well as it did compared to other pieces I have tried. This set won't fit a plus size by any means, but it will fit curves. I would size this as a ML.

I weigh ~145 pounds (I lost 10. YEAY!), size 8/10); curvy but fit. The one size fits most says it fits a 6-11 dress size, A-C cup, 32-38" bust, 23-29" waist, and 34-40" hip. The top fit well, the panties were ok, and the garter was pretty good-a tad small on the hips (same with the panties).

Let's start with the top. The cups worked well with my 34/36 D chest, but I doubt they will work with anything larger. If your D's are not perky, you might have a problem with the lack of support. Since the split in the cups works best with a full cup, I would say that a C or D is ideal. A B cup might be fine, but A cups will look like a regular cup. Due to the slim ties, larger chests might be uncomfortable in the neck as well. I felt fine, but I was not needing much support. The back ties could accommodate a larger band than listed. Nothing dug into me to fit correctly.

Your waist size is not really important. The most important size is your hips. This does run small there. My hips are about 37-38" which is in the middle of the hip range, but is actually the max if you don't want it to cut into you. The small spandex cords make it more difficult to pull this off if it is too small. It barely created a dent in my hips, so I felt comfortable in it.

The panties were a bit odd. The triangle part was too long, so I tied the T-string in the back to make them shorter. They were a bit smaller than the garter and cut in a tad more, but it still was not enough to make me not feel sexy.

The garters work well, but are best with stockings that don't have a control band. The garters (even when adjusted) to hang a bit low. The whole thing put together looks really sexy though!

I expected this to not work for me and because it did (although not perfectly), I am super happy with it. The price is great too! My partner wanted something that have peek a boo cups and this worked well. He enjoyed pulling the ribbons to open the cups and the panties. After removing the panties, it was a lot of fun to have sex in this. For the best look, I recommend it to women in the 6-8 dress size range who have some curves.
