Flashy hero - costume discontinued by Espiral - review by WetJenn

I was unsure when I bought this being a big DC comic book fan. The Flash is one of my favorite heroes, so I wanted to make sure the outfit would do it justice and it did.

The outfit is a simple string tie bikini type outfit. You double the cords when tying the bow to get the desired look. the material is stretchy, but not super stretchy. I would double check your size before buying it.

This outfit is not anywhere close to the original Flash's costume, but it is similar enough to be a nice match. It is easily recognizable as The Flash, but different enough that you look sexy (because lets face it the original Flash's outfit is not sexy or hot on a female in any way).

The material is light and form fitting without making you look strangled in the clothing. It is a nice red and bright yellow which contrast well and pop when wearing it. The issue I see from it is finding some type of show to wear with it. The red is a lighter, bright red that is it's own shade, nothing like candy apple or cherry red, but a watered down cherry red. It seems like it is going to be easier to find a yellow shoe to match the outfit then it would a red shoe (I personally hate when the reds don't match when wearing and outfit or dress)?

The arm warmer's look great with or without the outfit. The do seem to run a little small, but the outfit works with out them.

The headband is a simple plastic head band that you can find at any drugstore. It has two pieces of Velcro on each side to attach the lightening bolt symbols, allowing you to change the direction that they are positioned.

Overall I was pleased with this costume as a cheaper and sexier alternative to a DC classic hero.

This outfit is hot still. It's fun and easy to wear. It holds up well and is easy to keep track of. The headband is the biggest complaint, but unless you are using the outfit as an actual costume you shouldn't have it on for long.
