Romance chemise and G-string - chemise discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by PeaceToTheMiddleEast

The Romance Chemise and G-String by Seven til' Midnight caught my eye when they came in stock. Even though it is mostly advertised for being a outfit to wear on your wedding night I looked past that because it is just too pretty to pass up. This can be worn in the bedroom or under a outfit.

This chemise comes in 4 different sizes. The sizes are from SM-3X/4X. I chose the ML and was hoping it fit me perfectly and it did. I feared it might have been too short in the back but that was not the case at all. On the size chart a ML should fit sizes 8-14, Cup C-D, Bust 36-38, Waist 28-30 and Hip 38-40. My sizes are as follows Size 9-10, Bust 38b, Waist 40-41, Hip 42, and Weight 146 lbs.

The chemise is made of Polyester/Spandex. On the cute little pink tag they have on the chemise says too Machine wash cold water. Do not bleach and to put on the line to dry. I can see why they would not want you too bleach it glad I read this before I threw it in with my whites. I am wondering if the blue trim may run.

The Romance chemise and G-String is blue and white. It has blue trim on the top of the bra area and on the bottom of the little ruffles they have. The chemise does not have underwire to it but it held my chest in place very well with just the elastic that they have under the bra area. This chemise also has straps that can be adjusted. There is also a blue bow in the middle of the breast area and a pretty blue bow on the bottom left side I did not notice until I put it on. You can't really see it in the stock photo either unless you know what you are looking for. The pattern is supposed to be floral but it does not look to floral to me. The white part is solid but sheer, oh yes another sheer chemise. But this did not bother me at all.

There is a G-String that comes with this chemise. The G-String is comfortable but could be a little bigger in the crotch area. I can't stand G-Strings that don't cover the whole crotch area, but it was not too bad. The G-String is just plain white there is no blue trim on it. That would have been nice.

This came packaged in a plastic bag. It was folded in three. There was a tag on the chemise showing the front and back of the chemise on the model and who it was made by and the size of it. This can be easily folded up and put in a over night bag or in a suit case for travel. I have it stored in my lingerie drawer.

I gave the chemise 3 out of 5 stars because of the itchiness of the outfit. I had put it on for work and I could not sit in it any longer. I had to take it off and the whole day I still felt itchy. It was even itchy when I moved to sit Indian style and my legs even started to itch.

I had worn this for work but it did not last too long. It made me itchy all over as I have repeated several times. Yes this really ticked me off. The chemise is so beautiful and it fit me well. I sure hope after I wash it that the feeling goes away. I wonder if that could have been the problem to begin with. In my follow up I will add if the itchiness went away with a wash. I want to get a lot of wear out of this chemise. Now I know what other females have been through this is the first time it has happened to me.

I finally got to wash this and the itchiness has went away. Thank god because this outfit is so cute. I have worn it a couple of times since. I also wear the G-string a lot and have no issues.
