Bows, and Mesh, and Thongs--Oh My!

Coquette has made some beautiful products, and this is no exception. Overall, this lingerie is well worth having in one's collection, even if it's only worn on special occasions.

somewhat useful review
The problem with one size fits most is just that: one size fits MOST. This means that there's a chance of a) the product being too small, or b) the product being too big. For me, it was definitely that this Bow Mesh Cami, by Coquette, was big. Now, do not get me wrong, this is a completely beautiful piece. But I don't necessarily think it should have been made as one size fits most.

As seen in the picture, this outfit comes with a cami and a g-string. The thong is a very nice addition, however, it is very tiny. For me, it fit fine. It wasn't tight or anything, but if you're not a girl that keeps up with her bikini waxes, it will definitely show in this number. Otherwise, the thong is fine, and compliments the cami nicely.

For the cami itself, it is mesh, with the bows being made out of velvet. The material doesn't irritate the skin, and it actually can be kept on for quite a while. The straps adjust, but for me, they have to be as tight as they can in order to not slide off my shoulders. The body of the cami is also big around the waist, but this could simply be my body type. If you are average sized, it might fit better.

The fabric, which the Bow Mesh Cami and g-string is made out of, has a nice stretch to it. It can be stretched quite far without putting too much stress on it.

In the end, I give this outfit a four. Not because it has any major flaws, but simply because of the fit around my waist. That, and the fact that there's only one color option. Though beautiful in red, it would easily be just as beautiful in other colors, such as pink or a sky blue.
Follow-up commentary
I still love this piece. Over the times that I've worn it, it's held up nicely. It hasn't ripped or tore yet and it hasn't stretched out. As for the thong, I still think it's itty-bitty, but it's so comfortable. I like to wear it as everyday attire and not just for special occasions only. My recommendations for the Bow Mesh Cami with G-String haven't changed; in fact, this set has basically made me fall in love with Coquette, the company that puts this out. Yes, I love it that much.

It's like I said before: if this looks like something you want, buy it. You want be disappointed!

Could you provide some measurements? Of the piece, and your measurements if you are comfortable doing so. I have had my eye on this one, but depending on your size I would be able to decide if I have a fighting chance. LOL

This is cute! Does it provide any breast support?

Cherryredhead88: My natural waist line--the smallest part--is about 24 inches. The cami is about 26. It's not a terrible difference, but I like my lingerie a bit tight, I guess. Definately don't rule it out!!

Crystal1: Not really. Actually, not at all. The strap adjust to lift the girls a bit, but it's not, like, lined or padded or anything.

Pretty cami. Agree though that one size does NOT fit all.
