Bustless bra and G-string - bra and panty set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by ~LaUr3n~

I totally took advantage of the huge 30% off lingerie sale and got some items I had been putting off getting because of one reserve or another. Of the three items I got in this particular order, this piece stand out among the rest. It's bustless bra and adjustable pantie design make this a comfortable and flattering item for many. The gorgeous bow ca be used in a variety of ways as well. This set is actually capable of being a light BDSM item too! I love to be creative! The materials are higher quality than I expected and the sizing is good. If you don't mind having your girls completely exposed, this set won't disappoint.

*Material: Excellent, gorgeous

I love the materials for this piece! This set is made of 100% nylon, exclusive of the trim. I believe the nylon makes up the black lace. It is actually stretchy, and it appears as a second layer over the red satin feeling fabric, creating a very nice contrast and pop. The lace is soft too, just like the silky satin. The red ribbons are double layered making them much better than traditional ribbon you get off of a spool. It is very flexible and ties well. Seriously, I am very impressed.

*Design/craftsmanship: Great, No issues for me

The top is a COMPLETELY bustless bra with underwire. The underwire pieces are covered with the red nylon. The backs of them are black. The underwire is sturdy and metal, and does not easily bend. The small piece of fabric between the cuffs is layered like the rest of the bra. The sides of the underwire have bands that clasp in the back like a typical bra does. They are well made, stretchy, and have a pretty lace trim that peaks out past the red. It has a double clasp of eye and hook closures. There are three sizes to choose from, each about 1/2" apart. They clasp from right into left.



The bra is already unique, but it also has two sets of straps. The first is a typical adjustable pair. The second is the long ribbon that also connect at the top most part of the "cup". It can be tied behind the neck for additional lift, behind the back, or in front of the chest.

The panties are unique as well. They have a regular triangle pantie front of a good size. It does not have a pantie liner. From the base of the triangle a spandex strap, the g-string, is attached. At the other end of it is a loop. One of the large, luxurious, and long satin ribbons from the sides of the triangles threads through there and then they can be tied in a bow behind above the butt. The string can slide, but I didn't have an issue with it. If you do, you can do some creative knot tieing to prevent this. There is plenty of extra ribbon to create a beautiful bow above a beautiful behind.

*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash/cardboard box

The tag says to hand wash and to then tumble dry on low. Due to the delicate ribbons, I'm not even chancing doing anything else. Clean your hands of oils and lubricant before handling this gorgeous items! It comes in a thin cardboard box that has the potential to be reused if you are careful enough. It displays pictures of a model wearing this set.

*Sizing/Fit: For the mediumEXCELLENT!, Very adjustable

This is one of the best Leg Avenue specifically sized pieces I've seen from them in quite a while. They do tend to run a little small. I was not sure if I was ready for the medium, from this company, after losing weight due to my past experiences. I apparently should have gotten the medium. I weigh ~142 pounds, size 8); curvy but fit with a ~34/36 D bra size. My hips are about 38".

According to Eden's chart, the large should fit dress sizes 12-14, cup C, band 36-38", waist 27-19", and hip 38-40". The bra fit under my breasts well and the halter portion of the top provided a little lift so my girls were not just looking bland. I didn't find the bra uncomfortable at all. Since I'm on the low end of the band and hip chart for the large, I though it would be safe to get that size. Turns out, I would have been fine with the medium too. But due to the design, this doesn't look too big. There isn't much to the set anyways.

I can wear the band on the smallest of the choices comfortably, so that makes the chart accurate for that part. I prefer to tie the ribbon around my neck, but it also looks cute tied in front over the breasts in a bow to match the back. The panties are genius! That will fit a huge variety of sizes! Seriously... it will fit up to about 52", 2X with enough room to tie small bow. SO, plus sized gals, this can work for you too! I think the bra will start digging in if you are larger than DD though. Keep that in mind! Smaller than C might look a bit diminished by the design. The pantie is super sexy and very comfortable. It is also easy to put on and tie to how tight you want it.

The price on this is excellent. ESPECIALLY, for the 30% that I got it for. I love the vibrant blood red satin and the design is so sexy and out there. It's a lot more comfortable and flattering than I thought too. If you get creative, you can use the ribbon ties to do more than keep your clothing on. Have your partner use the one connected to the bra to tie your hands behind your back! If you have the confidence to show this much skin, no matter what size you are, you should give this set a try!

I can tell that this set might not last as long as some others because I had a seam come loose where the ribbon attaches. However, it was an easy fix and I have learned to just be a little more careful with this. I hand wash it, which has been easy since there is so little fabric. I'm still hoping they make it in more colors!
