Sequin pasties with tassels - pasties discontinued by Coquette - review by ~LaUr3n~

USE/INTRO:

Tasseled pasties are one of those things that I always thought looked ridiculous until I got my own pair. They are fun and sexy and in a way erotic. Putting them on with some heels, thigh highs, and a barely there thong to do a dance for my partner makes me feel like I'm role playing as a whole new person. I have quite a few shelf bras that these look wonderful with, so that is why I decided to purchase these. My other pair is red and came with a costume by Coquette, but they didn't match many of my lingerie pieces. Black is much better but I wish they had even more colors too!

DESIGN:

The main part of the pasties is shaped like a heart. It is slightly convex so that the nipple isn't smashed underneath and doesn't necessarily make contact with the adhesive. The size of the heart is 2" in height and almost 2.5" across. The heart is covered in sequin and the nylon tassel attaches to the center of the heart. The tassel is almost 3.5" long but since it connects in the middle of the heart the entire thing is about 4.5" long. On the inside of the heart is a piece of plastic that when removed, reveals the adhesive.

FIT:

I can't imagine that the pasties wouldn't cover every single person's nipple size. But the pastie may not cover the entire areola if you have larger ones or an irregular shape. They covered both of mine just fine and the tip of my nipple didn't touch the adhesive, which was nice when because it didn't pull that skin when removed.

You probably won't be able to wear these under something without them being noticed though. The sequin and convex shape make them hard to hide under fabric.

PERFORMANCE:

The adhesive on these things is super strong, but doesn't hurt or irritate the skin. To ensure that they stay on as long as possible and are able to be reused, wipe the area with rubbing alcohol or astringent to remove oils or powders. I have worn mine 3 times for an extended period of time and they still adhere just as strong as the first time. Even after the adhesive starts to get less strong, you can use some rubbing alcohol on the sticky part which will make it possible to wear them maybe one more time. If that doesn't work, double sided fabric tape will do the trick. Removing them was fairly painless for me because my nipples are small and didn't touch the inner side.

I was even able to master the twirling tassel and boobie move ha! If you have never tried these, you should! They are a lot of fun and have a semi vintage look to them. I love dressing up in retro pinstripe and back seam stockings. These fit the burlesque bill perfectly.

I am super impressed with the stickiness of these! My pair is almost a year old and i have used them 3-4 times and the stickies are still holding strong! As long as you take care of them and replace the plastic backing as well as don't leave them out to collect dust, you will get plenty of use out of them!
