Grey spotted dress - mini dress discontinued by Espiral - review by Mrs.Tee

This piece is cute and can be worn either as a top or as a dress. The back of this dress grabbed my attention. I usually wear a medium but I chose to get a large because I didn't want it to be too short in the back. It was a perfect fit. This dress is classy but in a sexy way. It can definitely be worn out on a night on the town or to a more formal affair, however it has its downsides as well. This dress will definitely hug every curve on your body. The tag on the dress states that it is 94% Polyester and 6% Elastic, so this dress is super stretchy. This dress arrived in clear, plastic wrapping. After taking the dress out of the plastic wrapping the first thing I noticed was a glittery sparkle to it, which I didn't see in the advertised picture, but this was fine. Another thing that I noticed was how dull the black color in the dress looked. It looked like a faded black, very different than how it was advertised.



Trying it on I noticed the tightness of it, which I definetely liked, however the back of this dress, which was what originally attracted me to it, I didnt like. There was no bust support and this dress was also difficult to wear a bra with. This is because, if you decide to wear a bra with it, it will be visible in the back where the elastic strings are located. The strings were very sloppy, it seems as if the strings had just been thrown onto the back and tied into a knot. It is very poor quality, but the strings in the back were also itchy. When I finally decided to wear it out I couldnt help but to keep reaching across my shoulder and scratching my back what seemed like every five minutes due to those elastic strings. Once I finally got in and took it off for the night I felt an instant sense of relief.




There are no care instructions for this dress on the inside or outside of the tag, which I found pretty off putting because most clothing articles usually have the care for the clothing at least writtn on the tag. Due to the strings on the back of the dress I would recommend washing it in lukewarm detergent. I'm assuming that the washing machine would most likely ruin the delicate elastic strings that are on the back. This dress was definitely not for me, even though it's a very cute, tight fitting dress, the elastic strings and the lack of bust support definitely made me give this dress just 2 out of 5 stars.
