Use

The Flirty Ruffles Top by Espiral is a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. This is a pretty little number that is rich in color, and good for all occasions: club, bar, parties, work, etc. You can dress up the shirt, or dress it down, it's quite versatile as to where you can wear it. Wear it with or without the belt, whatever your mood desires. This top looks great with jeans, or dress pants, and if you're wearing it to work, you can add a camisole underneath. I personally like to wear the shirt backwards with a camisole, but it looks awesome either way.





Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

There are two labels attached to the top, the first has the size (XL), and the second has "AM:PM", "by Espiral" written on it, along with the breakdown of fabrics: 65% Polyester, and 35% Rayon. Starting from the top of the Flirty Ruffles Top, the front features a round neckline, and the back features a "V" style neckline. The length from the neck to the bottom of the shirt in the front is 19" long, and in the back it's 14.5" long. With that said, the back drops down quite a bit lower, therefore if you wear this top with most bra's, the back would be visible.



The main color of this top is a gorgeous solid blue, almost a turquoise-green color. It's truly a gorgeous hue, and would suit many different skin tones. The cut of the shirt is almost like a tank top, as it doesn't have much when it comes to arms. The shoulder is just 2" in length, and then attached is a pretty 3/5" length ruffle-like sleeve. If you don't like the top part of your arm/shoulders, then this top covers them a bit, but is still sexy in showing some skin.



Espiral paid extra attention to the quality of this shirt, as the seems are well sewn. The quality of the fabric is excellent, super soft, and hasn't faded after multiple washing. Keep in mind though that this shirt is a small fit. I normally wear a size 14 and an XL, and their XL fit more like a medium or a small large. The top was skin tight on me, however, I love the style and find that the fitted look actually looked slimming on me.



The belt was a disappointment for me. I never got a chance to wear it, as it broke as soon as I removed it from the package. I notice from previous reviews, that this has happened to others as well. I personally didn't like the look of the belt, and wore the shirt with my own black belt. So for me, it was still well worth the money for the shirt.



The belt is made of a stretchy materiel, so it would fit most people. The only thing is if the belt is too big, there's no way of tightening it without sewing. The length of the belt is 29.5" in length, and 2.5" in width. The buckle itself is 7" in length, and 3" in width. The belt is supposed to fit under the bust, as seen in original photos, however, for myself I don't know how it would have fit there without it cutting off some serious circulation! I personally enjoy this shirt wearing a belt on the natural waist, instead of below the bust area.





Care and Maintenance

This item you will want to wash by hand in cool water, and use a detergent that is mild. I personally like to use zero for my lingerie. You will also want this item to air dry. You can toss this shirt in the washer, but only with delicate clothing and on a delicate cycle, however, stay clear of the dryer, as it will shrink. I personally just hand-wash this top, to prevent any shrinking, as it's already a small fit.

Packaging

The top and belt came wrapped in a clear plastic bag type of packaging. It had a clear little hanger, which looked like it's used for the purpose of showcasing the product on a store wall. The bag came sealed, so you could tell that the item was brand new, and the original cardboard tag with a model wearing the top was attached. The tag also includes the size, model number of the shirt, as well as washing instructions.

Overall I love my new Flirty Ruffles Top from Espiral. The color is just gorgeous, and the fabric is super soft against the skin. Espiral's clothing so far that I've tried out seem to be a small fit, so if you normally wear large, make sure to grab an XL. I wear a size 14 and an XL, and I found the XL to be quite snug. I still wear it though, as I don't mind wearing fitted clothing. For someone who doesn't feel comfortable wearing something fitted, then this isn't the item for you.

Even though the belt arrived broken, I'm still 100% happy with this product. I wouldn't have worn the belt anyway, as I like to wear the shirt with another belt that I own. I also enjoy wearing this shirt backwards with a camisole underneath, as it looks super cute for work. I find that if I wear it the normal way, the back "V" neckline is too low for work, although is perfect for any other occasion.

I still love this top even though I never used the belt. I wear a belt that I owned prior to the purchase of the top, and wear the belt lower then the model in the photo. The color of the top is still going strong, even after multiple washing.
