Fun but not enough stretch in the band!
For your first time trying out thigh highs this might work out but if you like thigh highs and are looking for a new pair to add to your wardrobe their are better options available. These were fun to try but the band that holds them up has no stretch therefore these were a little tight even though I was within the weight range listed. They gave me a taste of the pleasure of wearing fish net thigh highs but the experience could have gone better if the product were better constructed.

Fish net thigh highs are pretty much a must in any lady's wardrobe whether she is vanilla or not. So I selected leg avenue's spandex industrial net thigh highs hoping they would fit the bill.
They are a great price and the netting is not too delicate, so they seem like they were made to last more than one use but the band that holds these up is much too tight. They are made to fit 90-160 pounds and I weigh 138 pounds. I have long legs and average thighs but I couldn't get these very far past my knees, I looked like I was trying to fit my thighs in impossibly small tights. It wasn't sexy, they made my thighs look huge due to their extremely tight fit.
The stockings are made of 96% Nylon and 4% spandex. You would expect more stretch considering the materials but alas, none what so ever. Leg avenue suggest washing them by hand in warm water, which I do with most of my tights/thigh highs. They have been worn once and washed once and they are pretty much the same, undamaged.
The band of fabric that holds up the thigh highs doesn't have any plastic band inside to keep it sticking to skin like other thigh highs do. So this might be the reason why they are so darn tight. I would have preferred them to be looser with the added plastic band on the inner portion.
The toe end of the product is not very pretty either. The fabric was just gathered up and sewn together in a straight line and this looks unattractive at the end of dainty toes. I try to keep the seam under my foot but it can get uncomfortable to walk on. The seam doesn't stretch over the toes, it just pokes out and it is about an inch long.
I wore them with a sexy school girl outfit. I wore them just above my knee because any further up it looked as though the tights were strangling my thighs and it was a lumpy ugly mess. The texture was very interesting and different. They aren't very smooth on the skin and walking with these on barefoot makes your toes peep out the holes which gets annoying over time. I've read in other reviews that wearing shoes helps.

Experience
My favorite part about wearing these was taking them off and having my partner use them as handcuffs tying my hands together. They sustained the play very well.

I have been going to the gym and I have lost a little bit fat off my thighs and they still don't fit so well. I'm pretty disapointed as the netting is constructed so well, only the darn band at the top to hold them up is too tight.
They haven't seen much use as they are unflatering to wear. It's really too bad.

I love the "fish net" look and would like to wear them in public but be comfortable. I wish the designer had more of an appreciation of the potential erotic appeal of a woman's foot.
Liz2, I'm not much of a foot fanatic but I love doing my nails so I like getting attention on my tootsies and I think they constructed them in the way they did bcs it was just easier than trying to make it nice. For a comfortable pair I would continue looking.
