Hello there, cleavage!

I had really high hopes for this dress, but it left me feeling a bit unimpressed. The dress is sexy, and it provides me with great cleavage, but it doesn't really flatter my hips and waist. The sizing is also a bit off, as well. The stretch factor sort of makes up for the poor sizing, but I still recommend that you size up, anyway.

extremely useful review
I've lusted after this dress for a long time, and I finally decided to snatch it up. It's a quality dress, but it's definitely not all that I thought it would be. It's not bad, by any means, but it's just not a dress that many individuals will be able to wear. Part of the reason for that is that the sizing on this is just kind of off.

Basics:
The Mullholland Tank Dress is brought to us by Forplay Lingerie. While it is made by a lingerie manufacturer, it is also suitable to wear in public -- if you're daring enough. This skin tight tank dress may show off curves in a way that make some individuals uncomfortable, but for those that are brave, this will make a fabulous date night dress.

If, like me, you're not a big fan of the length of the dress, or of how it shows off your curves, you could also wear it as a tank top. I bunch the fabric up a bit, and wear it as a top with a nice pair of jeans, and it looks decent. It gives me some fairly intense cleavage, though, so it's really not suitable for daytime wear, unless you put something under it (in my opinion).

Material & Care:
This dress is made out of 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex.

The dress does have some stretch to it, but the stretch is limited. If you're above the size chart, you're probably not going to get a comfortable fit from this dress, as it just doesn't stretch enough.

The main body of this dress is made of one layer of fabric. The very top (bust area) is made out of two layers of fabric, so it's a little thicker on the top. The material is opaque, but it is also quite thin. So, if you stretch this to the fullest potential, you run the risk of it appearing sheer when the light hits in a certain way.

The material is comfortable and breathable. It didn't itch my skin at all, and I found that it felt especially cool on a hot day. Another great thing about this fabric is that it doesn't really seem to wrinkle -- which is partially because all the runching masks any wrinkles that may occur.

To care for this dress, it's recommended that you hand wash it in cold water, or have it dry cleaned. You should also allow it to line dry. As for storage -- I, personally, store this folded in a drawer as it does not seem to wrinkle. You could also hang it up, of course.

Sizing:
This dress is available in the following sizes: XS, S, M, L, and XL. I purchased the large, which is what I usually wear in lingerie.

A large should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: C-D
Bust: 36-38"
Waist: 28-30"
Hips: 38-40"

I wear a 34d bra, and have a 32" waist. My hips measure 40". Okay, so I'm above the size chart in the waist measurement, but I thought I could make it work. I mean, the dress looks stretchy, after all. Honestly, I am able to make it work, but it's just not very flattering. The worst part of this dress, for me, is the hip area. I am at the end of the hip measurement for the size chart, so it's no surprise to find that this area is very tight. I still get the runched look when I wear this, despite my measurements... I just don't feel like it's very flattering. I should've probably purchased the XL.

Length wise, this dress is quite short. I'm 5'6", and this dress does cover my bum. That being said, if I bend over, my ass is going to be shown to everyone that's around to see it.

My advice is to size up with this chart, as this piece really seems like it's more geared towards the lower end of the size chart (at least for the large).
Experience
Design:
This dress is designed to slip over your head, which can be a bit challenging. You see, this dress is going to fit snugly, even if you do size up. It fits so snugly that the material can be difficult to squeeze into. Once the dress is on, it's comfortable, but be prepared to spend a few minutes slipping into it.

Once you get the dress on, you'll notice that this dress has a very deep v neckline. The V cut is shown in both the front and back. This v neckline can be a good thing, if you want a lot of cleavage, but some wearers may feel that it displays too much cleavage. Personally, I like the v-cut, but I can't wear it in public without something underneath it. The great thing about the v-cut in the back is that it's low enough that it's sexy, but it's high enough that you shouldn't have an issue wearing a bra under the dress.

Another point I want to mention is the fact that this dress does actually offer some support, despite the fact that it doesn't have padding or underwire. The dress is so tight that it seems to kind of push my breasts upward. For this reason, I feel comfortable wearing it without a bra -- but it's still too low-cut for me to wear it in public.

The dress is skin tight, but it is fairly flattering (if you purchase the right side). It's flattering because the runching which covers the dress helps to hide flaws. That being said, if you do not get the right size and you end up having to really stretch the dress, you might find that the runching lessens.

Finally, there are the straps. The straps are thick, and they also have the appearance of runching. The straps are not adjustable, but they are quite comfortable.

Quality:
The quality is impressive. In fact, I would even say that the quality is nearly flawless. So, on that note... it's good.
