Sweet bunny - costume discontinued by Espiral - review by Beck

What is it and just how functional is it
The Sweet bunny costume is a lingerie costume that could second as an actual costume if you are wanting to be a bunny, but that would depend on your comfort level with exposure. I would never were this outside of the house and in fact I refused to take pictures of me in this costume.

Included: Top, Suspender Bottoms, Wrist Cuffs, Bow Tie, and Bunny Ears.

Design, Material, and Care

Ears
The bunny ears are a plastic head band with white feathers and gold tinsel glued to the center of the top, then attached are two bunny ears. These ears are stitched together, so they can not be manipulated in any way. They are made using the left over material from the clothing with is 93% polyester and 7% spandex, but you can feel that there is some kind of flexible paper inside to help hold there shape. You should not really have to care for this head band unless you get a stain on the ears, which you can clean with a damp cloth.

Tie
This is a white bow tie with a black string tied around it and a large black button attached to the front in the middle of the bow. It is made of the same material as the clothing, which is 93% polyester and 7% spandex. Should anything get on this tie you can hand wash it and hang dry it.

Cuffs
The cuffs are made of an unmarked material which is silky. They are white with Velcro pieces on the inside and one black large button on the outside. The peak down to a point on one side, but are even on the rest.
Should anything get on these I recommend just wiping with a damp cloth.

Top
The white top is a halter top style that is adjustable. The halter top straps tie together to fit your size. The top has two round peaks and slightly dips in the middle at the top, then in the middle on the front is two black large buttons, and the bottom edge has two pointed peaks with a dip in the middle. This is meant to expose your stomach. This is made of 93% polyester and 7% spandex which should be hand washed and hung dried.

Bottom
The bottom is black bikini cut underwear with a panty liner inside. Then attached to the front at the hipbone are white large buttons that also attach the straps for the suspenders. These are to separate straps until you get to the shoulder blades, then they connect together and attach to the back of the underwear bottoms. Were the bottom of the suspenders and the underwear meet is white feathers to make a bunny tail. The material of the bottom is 93% polyester and 7% spandex which should be hand wash and hung dried.

The Material is 93% polyester and 3% spandex which is really stretchy and soft on the skin. It feels just like bathing suit material.

Quality Check Quality: Costume,so not great.
The ears are really cheap, the feathers and the ears could easily be pulled off. The plastic head band could easily be pulled to far apart and break.

The tie is not even completely stitched at the ends, so it is only a matter of time before fraying happens. The stitching is done straight and nice, but not completed.

The cuffs are even stitched but the Velcro has lose strings.

The top straps are only strings, they could be easily pulled and the stitching could come undone. The stitching and the seams are nice and line up.

The bottom could easily have the tail pulled off since there is only a few stitches keeping it on. There is not elastic band to help keep the underwear on, so if they get too stretched they will be baggy. The seams and stitching does look even and nice.

I was actually able to wear this. While I am not comfortable showing everyone due to the amount it would expose it was very nice. I will admit that my tummy hanging out is not that flattering, but I have had two kids and learn to love myself. The top was really tight on my chest, but it covered them completely, so the max size is DDD. The material is stretchy as you can see, so it will fit a variety of sizes. The bottoms fit on me, but the suspenders are not adjustable so they tend to fall off, I am going to have to shorten then with safety pins until my mother in law can sew them for me. The wrist cuffs are for tiny wrists. The neck tie is comfortable and there was plenty of room to tie around a larger neck. The ears, now, I was unsure how to even measure those. So I just did not. They are the quality of those plastic head bands you got as a little girl that scratch the crap out of the top of your head, the bend and flex some, so they should fit the average women's head.

Overall Rating
I am giving this costume 3 stars, it is not adjustable and the quality is just okay. It is sexy, but lacks an overall greatness.

This is one really cheaply designed costume. None of the pieces have lasted over time. Things didn't run very well to size and the props were cheaply done too. I say, save your money and skip this one.
