Role play racer - costume discontinued by Coquette - review by Katelyn

This Role Play Racer costume by Coquette is absolutely stunning. I have learned to expect nothing but the best from Coquette and on this dress they certainly delivered! This outfit is one I would love to wear out to a costume party or on Halloween (even though it is a tad revealing). As a dress it works well enough to wear to all sorts of events and as lingerie the panties and bra combo certainly make my partner want to race to bed...

The Dress- The dress is made of a thick polyester which is stretchy and form fitting. I am 5'2, 125 lbs, and generally wear size medium. I ordered the medium/small and it fits like a glove. If you are under 100 lbs or over 200 lbs I would suggest looking into a similar outfit in a different size. (I will leave suggestions below). The dress is all black will checkers running down the length of the arms, red stripes running down the front and mini-patches bearing racer (Nascar) inspired slogans. To me, the dress fit perfectly and I was astounded that I bought the dress online and didn't even try it on. The zipper running down the front is thick, metal and a little bit retro. It has a huge circle for the actual "zip" part and I think that is wonderful as it makes it easier for your partner(s) to take it off of you! I am fastidious when it comes to fabrics and try as I might, I couldn't find any snags or problems in stitching on the dress. If the dress didn't have the Nascar symbols I might consider wearing it to clubs or concerts, just because it is so cute.

Bra- The bra says racer in bold red letters across the left cup and actually has a very intricate design. The cup sizes were a bit snug but because the bra is designed to be worn without clothing over it, it seems fine. I was impressed by the fabric. It wasn't too itchy and didn't irritate me at all, usually costume fabrics are very low quality. I never find that to be the case with the Coquette line.

Panties- The underwear are boy-shorts. They have the racer symbol of two crossed flags on the left side and are more like short-shorts than panties. I love these because I feel like I could possibly wear this to the beach or somewhere else fun, whereas, with a thong it would be a little revealing!

Accessories- Don't be confused, the outfit does not come with the cute little racer flag the model seems to be holding. If you are looking for other items on Eden Fantasys to par with this item I have a few suggestions...


These Diamond Net Thigh High Stockings by Leg Avenue as incredibly gorgeous and would fit in with this outfit perfectly. Even though I don't currently own them, I love all Leg Avenue products so I plan on ordering these soon!


This Fluffy Flogger by Rough Doggie Styles, is absolutely gorgeous and I thought the color scheme certainly matched that of a Nascar flag. On your mark, Get Set, Go!

When I ordered this outfit, I wasn't sure how I felt about the whole "Nascar" ideal. I truly wanted a naughty French Maid outfit, but the second I opened my package I started smiling. I wore this dress the entire day after it arrived. I did the dishes, took out the trash, and still felt extremely sexy. It is ridiculously comfortable and just quirky enough to add some fun to your sex life. A French Maid outfit is common and everyone knows it is sexy, but when a gal can pull off a racer girl costume you know she is something special. My Measurements-
I am a 36C cup and I generally wear size "medium." This is usually about a size 6.

The Outfit Measurements-
I would suggest ordering the size you fit into. For example, smalls and mediums will fit into a s/m but x-smalls won't.

The sleeve length (from armpit to hand= 17 inches)
The length of the dress from armpit to bottom= 24 inches
The width of the hips= 26 inches (un-stretched) the underwear are not visible under the dress.
The bustline-36 inches (stretched)- the bra fits inside this perfectly.

This outfit holds up fairly well. The bra actually surprises me the most, I have washed it a thousand times and it still retains a semblance of shape. I have no problem wearing it under my shirts, although, the badges might show through thinner clothing. None of the stitching has unraveled and the dress still looks great.


I am going to a "Uniform" party and am contemplating wearing this, do you think this works as a uniform? Otherwise, naughty cop will ride again!
