Lolita bra set with hose - bra and panty set discontinued by Escante - review by K101

The Lolita Set comes with three pieces: a bra, panties, "garter belt", ribbon belt, and thigh highs.



MATERIAL: 91% Nylon & 9% Elastane. This material is the most sheer I've seen. Not soft and supple, but not uncomfortable either.


MEASUREMENTS (size small):
-PANTY: 12" waist. 7" long.
-BELT: 66"
-BRA: traingular shaped cups are 5" wide each. Entire length of bra around: 26 1/2.
-Garter straps at longest adjustment: 10 1/2". Garter straps at shortest: 5 1/2".
-Garter itself (waist cincher): 21 1/2" around. 7" long in the front middle & 6" long on sides.

The "garter" doesn't resemble a garter belt, but is more of a waist cincher, only it doesn't cinch a damn thing. It makes me look larger. This "garter belt", which I'll refer to as a waist cincher, has four flimsy, plastic bones. The bones bulge out and jab, creating a disaster of my mid-section.

The cincher comes with hangar loops, which show through the horrible, hardly-there mesh material. The cincher, bra and panty are the same nude-pink color. It's nothing like the product page. The ribbon details are all hot pink, so it makes this set look like it wasn't meant to go together. The hot pink parts consist of the lovely bow on the back of the panties, the strips of ribbon covering the plastic garter clasps and the ribbon through the black belt. Each piece has black trim.

Looking at my measurements, you'll see how small the waist cincher is. It's stretchy, but even with it on a loose setting, it looks terrible on my size zero waist. Any larger than a small will not fit this comfortably. I believe the entire set (aside from the belt) was made with petite women in mind.

If anyone coud like the cincher, then you'll be happy to know the garter clasps are long enough (10 1/2) for very tall people and short enough (5 1/2) for shorties like me. The clasps are plastic and have hot pink ribbon strips covering them.

The belt is lovely, but not attached to the cincher. You just tie it on and since the hot pink ribbon doesn't match the nude pink set, it looks off.


I usually stay away from bras that consist of only sheer material because I worried it'd make the shape of my breasts look awful. I was totally surprised at how nice my different sized breasts looked in this. The bra is small though. It's not going to fit any larger than a small C. My right breast was spilling, but the underwire helps keep them in line. The bra has 2 rows of hook & eye closures. It's slightly stretchy and has cheap feeling, adjustable straps. You can adjust the slider the entire length of the strap. The mesh bra is very comfortable, but too revealing for me to wear under my tops. It's strictly a lingerie bra.


The panties have a panty liner, but these are a unique pair! I love them. It's one of the things that attracted me to this set. The strappy back pretty much gives you a g-string, but I wasn't able to feel the string in my crack. They're fairly comfortable, but some of the strings bunch up. These are hard panties to describe. The front of them are plain pink, while the back is where you see straps going everywhere and a big, perfect hot pink bow! Again, this hot pink looks out of place with the rest of the set being nude pink. These are flattering and didn't cut into my buns. I have a small booty though, so that should be kept in mind. Any larger than my measurements, and these will cut into your cheeks. The waist fits without digging in or leaving lines. These could be worn under clothing, but panty straps could show and the bow tickles my cheeks, so I just wear them as lingerie or under a dress.

The stockings are a natural, but dark color with black bands, but are ugly. I don't care for panty-hose and that's what they resemble. They fall down easily and snag even easier. They're useless. However, they will stretch to fit someone with at least medium thighs. Large and you risk the chance of them running.

Like I said, looking at the product photo, I expected a non see-through material. It looks very different from the product photo in person. It's such an ugly, nude-pink that doesn't flatter me. The bra appears to not be transparent at all, but the entire set is uselessly transparent. There's very little good to say besides that the bra looked nice, fit well, and the panties are fun and sexy. Other than that, I'm absolutely displeased with this and even more displeased with the misleading photos. I bought this a month ago and was so furious with it that I couldn't keep calm long enough to even think about reviewing it. Now that I'm over it -- I got something better today -- I'm able to.

I don't think anything I've ever put on my body has looked so unflattering as this. The waist cincher totally gives my belly and love handles bulges, and it's not even tight! The boning combined with such cheap, fine material create a total muffin top on me. I'm 93 pounds!

When I opened the set and seen the cincher, I told my partner it looked like a child's size. However, it's very stretchy, so it fit me well, but it didn't matter because it still highlighted my stomach. The cincher was the worst part of this set. I don't even have words to describe what my waist looked like in this. The four bones and super thin, cheap mesh material caused bulging everywhere. It was downright ugly, although my partner begs to differ.

The belt is cute though and I plan to wear it with other items. I actually considered sewing it onto a black dress I made.

Giving this 2 stars is generous. Had the panties not looked nice on my bee-hiney, it'd have gotten one. It's all around crap-lingerie to be totally blunt.
