Ok. Tell me what these are and why I'm here to read about them.

I'm so glad you asked. This is a set of pasties. Well, you actually get 2 sets plus 2 smaller matching ones. Pasties are a great idea for any time you might have to skip wearing a bra but still want to preserve your modesty and not let the entire world know how cold or excited you are. They're also awesome if you want to give a partner a sexy surprise; or if you want to just spend the day knowing you have a sexy secret on under your clothes.

You have my attention. Tell me more about what I'm actually getting.

Inside a white envelope you'll find 2 pairs of heart shaped pasties, 2 smaller heart shaped stickers, as well as 4 or 5 nipple protecting pads. This company makes a lot of different colors, shapes, and patterns and the set you receive will be one pair of a solid tan color, one pair of a lacy tan color, and the two smaller hearts are miniature versions of the full size ones with one solid and one lacy.

Each full size heart measures about 2 3/4" across at their widest point and about 2 1/2" tall and are made of Nylon with an adhesive backing. The solid one has a soft feel to it, almost like a sateen. This is the one I would pick if you're going for just preserving modesty as it's going to lay the most flush against your skin and be the least noticeable. The lacy one also feels very soft under the fingers and will be more noticeable under certain materials. This is the set you wear if you want to surprise your partner or feel like you're keeping a sexy secret to yourself all day. The smaller ones can possibly be used as a mismatched set of pasties if you're feeling really adventurous, although the protective pad is bigger than they are so you're better off using them as a tan tattoo or just as a fun pop somewhere else.

Ok but how do I put them on? How long can I keep them on for?

Great question! These are super simple to use. Peel off one half of the backing like a sticker, center the protective pad on the back of the heart, peel off the other back half to place the pad completely on the sticky part of the pasty, and then position everything so that the protective pad covers your nipple and smooth the rest of the heart against your skin. You'll want to make sure that your skin is clean and dry, but you can put your lotion on around everything once you're done if you still need it. Seriously, the hardest part of using these is getting them both even.

That pad is important because nipple skin is pretty sensitive, as you may have figured out already, and the adhesive can irritate it or even worse, possibly remove some of it. Typically it's advised to keep these on no more than 12 hours. I say use your best judgment. If they start to irritate you make a point to take them off as soon as possible. If they feel ok try to remember to take them off before you go to bed.

I'm sold! Can I reuse them?

Unfortunately these seem to be pretty much a one shot item.

This brand can still be found all over the place, and they make all sorts of awesome options for you to choose from. They're a bit pricey if you're looking for something to use on a somewhat daily basis, but they're a great option if you only need them a few times a year. They've been my go to for every occasion I've had to skip wearing a bra and I haven't been let down yet. On more than one occasion I've fallen asleep with them on and had no problem removing them aside from losing a hair or two, and they've stayed comfortable the entire time.
