Overview
The first time I saw the Tres Sexy Nude Chemise and G-String by Oh La La Cheri was on the manufacturer’s website. I had been perusing their online catalog after noticing Eden was now carrying their products. When I saw the Nude Chemise it took my breath away. Naturally, the same day Eden had this chemise in stock I snatched it up. While this may not be 100% what I was hoping for, especially in terms of quality, I still enjoy the way this chemise makes me feel. In the end all that matters is that the lingerie makes you feel sexy.
Material and Texture
Chemise
According to the manufacturer this chemise is 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. The nylon runs through the entire chemise and works as a tight netting, hugging the body while attempting to shape your curves. From what I can tell the spandex is located at the black piping which consists of 6 vertical strips around the body as well as going under and across the bra cups. In the back there is an opening that leaves a portion of the wearer completely bare with only a black ribbon to hold the chemise together using 36 spandex 'hooks' along each panel. Overall I like how well this holds me together, it seems that the nylon is sturdy and won’t easily get caught on anything. This is not an itchy garment though it’s not super soft either.





G-String
Like the chemise the tag on this g-string states that it is 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. I think the manufacturers state these proportions for the set as a whole rather than the individual items. The nylon accounts for the triangle of fabric that covers the pubic area but as it is sheer some of you may or may not appreciate the netting which might let some of your pubic hairs through the fabric. There is no matching black piping on the g-string. As for the spandex I believe it makes up the ‘string’ portion of this panty. On a happy note, there is a 3 inch long cotton crotch lining located inside which means that bacteria will not fester or cause possible infections.



Design and Craftsmanship
Chemise
Eden offers this chemise by Oh La La Cheri in nude/beige (depending on how you look at it) and black. Now as you can see from the picture the black portion of the chemise makes up the pipping along with the lacing in the back and bra straps. Everything else is the nude/beige color including the light padding inside the bust area. Everything but the bosom is sheer or, in the case of the lacing in the back, open. While we are on the subject of the bust area I would like to point out a slightly odd design in this garment. The bra straps are only semi-removable. By this I mean that the straps hooked into the bra cups can be removed but the straps located at the back of this item are attached. So your cleavage can spill out but you will still have the straps hanging around in the back.
The craftsmanship for this set in general has its ups and downs. On the one hand there are no strings out of place and the fabric is pretty sturdy. There was a moment where I laced it too tight and while wiggling out I snagged it. For a second I feared the worst but low and behold it was okay. On the other there is a major flaw at the bottom where the black piping meets the nylon. While I could see the puckering clearly in the mirror apparently I wasn’t able to take a clear picture of it. You kind of get an idea while looking at the full chemise pictures but it’s not quite as bad as that. My guess is the more the fabric has to stretch the more it makes divots in the nylon. But since this flaw is there even when no one is wearing the garment I’m led to believe it’s bad craftsmanship.





G-String
This entire g-string is nude/beige. It fits me rather well but is not necessarily the stretchiest pair of panties I’ve come across. The only real complaint I have frustrates me enough that I probably won’t wear these. As you can see in the pictures I have included a shot of the stitching where the hip portion of the string meets the butt crack portion. This is not firmly stitched into place. Instead the loop is open for the lower portion to move about every which way it chooses. This got tangled right out of the bag; I can imagine what would happen in the wash.

Packaging and Cleaning
This set came inside of a clear cellophane bag attached to a small, black plastic hanger. Both the bag and hanger have the manufacturer’s name. According to the garment tag you will want to hand wash this set in cold water then hang dry, and please remember not to bleach either item. Honestly I don’t give a hoot about the g-string but I would listen to the directions regarding the chemise. With the lacing in the back and soft nylon material that runs throughout the garment it would be risky to put this in the machine.

Eden offers this set in S-XL, however since the Oh La La Cheri size chart isn’t up yet so I had to snatch it off another retailers website in order to get the recommended measurements. I chose to go with the small since everything but the hips were supposed to fit well. My hips fit comfortably into the chemise anyway but given the stretch of the nylon plus the long ribbon provided for adjustable lacing the sizing can be altered a bit if needed. For some reason the chart says this will fit a D cup. I wouldn’t recommend doing that. This fit my 34 small C cup breasts like heaven, which is why I love this chemise. The bust was made for smaller bosomed women from my experience with the small. If you have an ample bosom you want to go with a size bigger.



Likes and Dislikes
What I wasn’t so fond of
I think most of you will find the color of this garment to be a turn off. I think that if you like the style of this chemise but are turned off by the color there are other options. Coquette offers a similar chemise which I have listed the link to and picture below if that strikes your fancy more. But what bothered me the most was the puckering of the fabric. I don’t like that it’s accentuated when I’m walking and find that it makes an otherwise classy piece look cheap.
What I liked
The 3 star rating I’ve given this set reflects more upon what I think others would rate it given all the flaws; coloring, craftsmanship, and the weird tangly g-string. Personally I think of this as a 4 star product but that reflects my own preferences. It’s hard for me to find a piece of lingerie that isn’t a bra which not only hugs my breasts but makes them look enticing. A lot of the time I feel like I have to shuffle them into place in order to attain cleavage. No shuffling needed here. As far as I’m concerned this is a blessing to the smaller chested ladies of Eden.
