Fang bangin fun vamp - costume discontinued by DreamGirl - review by tami

I ordered the Fang Bangin Fun Vamp costume in a size 3x/4x and it is made by Dreamgirl. The kit comes with 5 items: the dress, a cape with a stand up collar, belt with chains, a choker collar, and a set of vampire fangs. Not a bad take for the price of $51.99, but I used my points on this one and this was also on sale for $41.59 when I bought it. This is my first piece from Dreamgirl, so I was very nervous that it would not fit me at all. The costume came in a reusable heavy duty plastic storage bag with a hanger on the top of it. The belt, choker, and fangs were all packaged in a separate bag inside the large bag. All items were folded up nice and neat.



The costume is made up of 100% polyester and is made in China. The tag says to dry clean only. After inspecting each and every seam on the entire outfit, I could not find any snag tears or rips in the fabric or the stitching. The fabric appears to be able to hold up under some heavy duty foreplay, and does not seem to rip easily.



The dress is 100% polyester and dry clean only. It is a size 3x/4x. It measures 25" long and almost 23" across at the top of the dress. The dress has the babydoll cut (to give the hour glass shape) in the middle so it measures a half inch smaller than the top at 24.5". The bottom of the dress is flared out to almost 32". It comes down to mid thigh on me and I am 5'5.5" tall. The top of the dress has burgundy colored trim in a wavy pattern across the breasts.







The cape is also made of 100% polyester, and the tag for it says to hand wash it in cold water and line dry it. The outside of the cape is black and the inside of it is burgundy. It has 2 straps on it to hook onto the top of the dress to hold it on, but they do not give any support for your breasts. The collar of this cape is 21" wide. and stands up 5.5" tall. The elastic hooks that hold the cape to the dress are 8" long. The cape, from the bottom of the collar to the longest point, is 33" long. It also has the wavy pattern around the edges so that the cape appears to be bat wings. In the pictures I did a left side of the cape, the bottom of the cape, and then the right side of the cape.





The belt is 52" long from end to end. There is a cheap pentacle star with a fake ruby in the middle of it and 6 stars on each side of the pentacle. The belt closes with Velcro in the back. The belt is 2.5" wide. There are 2 cheap imitation silver chains that hang down on each side of the belt that are staggered at 5" and 6" in length.




The choker is 1" wide and about 16" long it has a very cheaply made silver ring in the middle. It also has 4 cheap imitation silver stars on the front of the collar. It closes in the back using Velcro and if you're not careful and have long hair, like I do, the darn Velcro closure will have your hair in it and you will end up pulling out some hair.

Hubby and I had a blast with this one. We had a few giggles over it, but he warmed right up when the vamp in me started biting and nibbling on both his necks.

Still head over heals in love with this costume. I still throw it on a few times here and there and have some fun biting the hubby's neck. The costume has held up well all items are still like brand new. I do keep this stored in the bag it arrived to me in.
