Romance babydoll and G-string - babydoll and panties set by Seven 'til Midnight - review by Breas

The Romance Babydoll and G-String Set by Seven ‘til Midnight is available in sizes S/M, M/L, 1X/2X, and 3X/4X. I wear a size XL, which is the only size they don’t offer. I went with the 1X/2X rather than the M/L because I didn’t want the outfit being too tight for comfort.

The set arrived in a clear plastic packaging. There was no text or photos on the bag other than a sticker stating the size of the set. The packaging is not ideal for storage. I keep my outfit in a drawer. There was a cardboard tag attached to the babydoll with a photo of a model wearing the outfit and stated the company name, company website, and size of outfit.



Both g-string and top are 87% polyester and 13% spandex. The material to both pieces is stretchy and they are both lined with elastic band making them stretchier. Both g-string and babydoll are a white mesh material, which is sheer. Below are a few measurements of the two pieces laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, please send me a message and I can get them for you.

Waistband unstretched: 17 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 36 inches
Widest part of material that covers your front area: 7 inches

Babydoll
Chest (armpit to armpit): 17 ¾ inches
Width beneath chest: 16 ¾ inches
Length of chest area (down centre front): 4 inches
Width of sleeve: 1 ¼ inches
Length of babydoll (armpit to bottom- not including trim): 19 ½ inches
Ruffle trim along bottom: 1 ¼ inches

The included g-string is all white in colour and does not have a liner in the crotch area. While I don’t mind g-strings, the babydoll could be paired with a nice baby blue or white coloured boyshort. Seven ‘til Midnight has a beautiful matching bikini style panty available for purchase but sadly, it’s not included with this babydoll.



The width at the front of the included panty is nice because it covers everything well. You can see from the measurements above that the g-string is super stretchy as the waistband and leg holes are trimmed with elastic. You may want to cut the long, hot pink coloured tag out of the g-string because the front is sheer and the tag can be seen through the material.

The babydoll is mostly white in colour with a few baby blue coloured accents. There is blue mesh ruffle trim along the neckline and runs around to the back of the neck of the babydoll. This trim is approximately 1 inch in length. It sits on elastic band so the more this area is stretched, the less ruffled it will look. The armholes to the top are also trimmed with elastic band and have ruffled white mesh. Again, the more you stretch this area, the less ruffled it will be.



The very bottom of the babydoll has blue mesh ruffle that runs around the entire bottom of the piece. The chest area of the outfit does not have any padding or underwire. The material is sheer so if you didn’t want your nipples exposed, you’d need to wear a pair of pasties or similar item beneath the top.

There is more elastic beneath the chest. This elastic runs all the way around the babydoll to the very back. The elastic has white lace trim beneath it but the lace is only at the front of the babydoll. The lace is ½ of an inch in length. At the very centre front beneath the chest there is a baby blue bow made of ribbon. The bow is approximately 1 ¾ inches wide. If you don’t like the bow, you could easily remove it as it’s only attached with a few stitches.

My C cups fit well into the babydoll. A person with a cup size larger than mine would be fine in the top as well since there is stretch. I’m 5’6 in height and the bottom of the babydoll falls just below the bottom of my bum. The babydoll has a really innocent look to it but still quite cute. The quality is good. I didn’t find any loose threads or errors in stitching.

The babydoll is very comfortable. The mesh is really soft and non-irritating to the skin. The care tag states that the outfit should be machine washed in cold water and line dried. The outfit should not be bleached.

Overall, I think it’s a great little outfit to wear in the bedroom. The price is great; it’s cute, and comfortable to wear! I’d recommend it to others.
